On a more serious note, I just posted the video fairly recently, HL2 mods speedrunning isn't very popular, my channel size is small and tbh, if this gets or doesn't get a lot of views after a while, I wouldn't mind that tbh. I don't do this for the views or for the money, I'm just passionate about it :) Thank you for your comment though! It helps the algorithm somewhat :D

@@trapstarASMR Since GameSpy servers were shut down many years ago, the game isn't as popular as how it was back in the day, for this very obvious reason. However, there are a few tiny communities here and there who gather around and play on multiplayer servers hosted via 3rd party tools. I'm sadly not part of any community for MoHAA multiplayer, and I've never heard of these ones you mentioned, so I can't really speak for the popularity much. The good thing about MoHAA is that you don't have to install any 3rd party software yourself to be able to connect to a server. Just insert the ip in the multiplayer options menu for joining a server and you are in :) I sometimes play multiplayer myself and it's loads of fun :D You could probably find some servers if you were to look up for MoHAA server lists on Google. I hope this helps. :)

@@churpsr846 Im 33 years old now, used to play when I was like 15. So many good memories, used to be part of a clan that we had a website, custom maps, forums to communicate. Teamspeak. Good times. I’m going to buy another gaming computer just for this reasonz

Thank you! Unfortunately, the run is invalid because I apparently did a semi-circle strafe at 3:03 in the video when I used an smg nade to boost myself. Didn't realize that back then and now this run ain't no longer valid lol, but I'll grind for a better time eventually! Stay tuned :)

Haha, yeah! I've been looking into the speedrun for this game very recently, and I must say that I'm quite disappointed with how badly it is being moderated on speedrun.com; Not only that, but it appears that the full runs submitted by individuals on that site are segmented runs, with IL record videos being combined into just one video, which is so stupid. Furthermore, the mods don't understand the difference between a segmented run and a single-segment run lol. I'd like to step in soon, bring this to their attention & also create a community where people can have access to resources for this game and how to speedrun it. This is because there is no community to begin with and it really saddens me. It is what it is tho, more IGI2 (and potentially IGI 1 speedruns to come at some point!) incoming soonTM. And despite all this, I'll do my best to be the first person ever to do a run in one sitting of this game, because nobody's done it yet xdd I decided to start out by running this level because a new strat had been found recently by one's friends of my friends, which saves 40+ seconds if done right ('wrote details in the vid description, if you wanna look). It's also been one of my favorite childhood games too! Unfortunately, it didn't age as well as I thought XD But yeah, I'm not surprised that you were never able to finish it. The good thing about it is that you have two options for this game: You either stealth your way through from start to finish or go in guns blazing like in Project IGI 1 lol. It's a fun old gem, that much I can say :) I've only once finished it on full stealth mode and the hardest difficulty, with every rating at 100% (But that was ages ago, and it's quite unlikely that I'll ever attempt that again at some point in time, but who knows lol).

Switching weapons by continuously swapping in-between fists and pistol/uzi makes Claude sprint faster than normal, without using any stamina :) It can even outrun slow traffic, but not aggressive drivers

@@p00dino Yes, it was patched on console in later patches after the first one. The glitch still works on PC even on the latest patch
