I got some of the legendaries. I haven't played these in so long and really need to pull them out and play and find ways to get various events I missed. I know various places do that but in due time. I was so stoked. I paid 160 for my Pokémon heart gold on the DS copy open it up. It’s got 127 hours 16 badges. I go through it’s Pokémon and it’s 60 unknowns unfortunately it didn’t even spell out a message.

holy cow the prices have really gone up. I've got two copies each of ruby and sapphire I've had pretty much since they came out 😅 the second copies - ruby was given to me by a friend and I actually found sapphire on the side of the road while riding my bike lmao still works too

The one and ONLY event I lived through in my years of playing Pokemon. Just too young during gen 3 and 4. And feel out of it around the time gen 5 came around. I will never forgot that feeling of getting him and using him for that play though

I work with an animal rescuer, she prioritises our native Aussie animals, mainly possums. I’ve bottle fed and pet kangaroos (the latter small and big, though the big ones had been human socialised and live in a sanctuary), pet and held possums, etc. I would not approach a wild roo. I wasn’t even allowed in her house when she had taken in a older joey that had been raised like it was a human or dog-level pet because he was so bratty at the transition between his old life and what he should’ve started with when his mum died. He broke their window once and went on the run for a bit, but was safely returned and is now at a sanctuary with the other roos me and her have taken care of. I had to help a relatively stressed joey into a pillow sack so it could be returned to its pouch (the pillow covers would be used as a more close to the body pouch so it would be a bit harder for them to escape the pouches, and some more reasons I can’t really go into without losing my sanity trying to explain it) as it RIPPED through her shirt when it started to panic as she attempted to calm it Kangaroos, grown and joey, are no joke. We tell people to watch out for ‘drop bears’ for a reason, because tourists would never believe the oh-so cute and oh-so sleepy koala has a bad temper. We have some insane animals, but I’m not going to act like it’s only that; we have some beautiful birds like the rainbow lori that, while are loud, are a sight to behold
