Yes. Purrminator'a SA has no limit of how much it can boost her attack. Just keep in mind that it only boosts her BASE attack, so atk% is useless on PurrM. Invest in crit rate, crit damage and piercing.

Just the basic you'd put on most attackers. Attack%, piercing, etc. Accuracy can help her too by giving her a greater chance to activate her barrier. If you use Rockstar support, be aware that Meter Again does not affect how much meter you gain from her SA, so it's not important.

This is on Normal. The main difference between difficulties is how much damage the player deals and takes, so I recorded at the middle point.

@mornedil69 I have seen other move go backwards as well but I'm not sure how to replicate them

@@ashmyoshi3912 it's usually when the character's target is in the wrong direction, making the character turn around to automatically face it. I'm guessing in this video Eliza tried to target Ms. Fortune's head for some reason lol

It's spammy for sure, but not as good as it seems tbh when trying to do it against good defenders. Plenty of defensive abilities and modifiers have a % chance to trigger on hit so spamming cannons against that gets punished hard. Buffer Zone also suffers from a god-awful attack stat holding her back. So even with this kind of spam, she will run into problems and plenty of counters that could time her out. All that prevents her from being tiered too high

​@@cocinerogore Meter Gain used to affect Prototype's signature ability, but a nerf was made so that Meter Gain would no longer work work for any ability that gives a big chunk of Meter at once - which hit Prototype the hardest. Before the nerf, Prototype with 36% Meter Gain could loop between 3 BBs, and if she had 100% Meter Gain she loop between 2 different BBs. Now after the nerf, meter gain does nothing so she always has to loop between 4 BBs, which makes her much slower since you have to include Magnetic Trap or Circuit Breaker into the loop. Attacking a blocking AI will make it stop blocking after a certain amount of blocked hits (they'll stop blocking, and often use either a grab or a basic attack). There's a lot of different ways you can manipulate the AI to your advantage, and that is one of them :) For example, try using Robo Fortune, knock the AI down, and right as they get up do this: Dash -> L4 -> (short wait) -> Launcher. The AI will start blocking (since it just got off the ground), and after your L4 it will try to attack during your short wait. But your launcher will hit first if you make sure your wait is only for a few frames at most (you can also use a BB or a sweep instead of launcher). It's a guaranteed way to get past an enemy who's blocking, so you can repeat this over and over in the right corner whenever you need to be aggressive! (i use this technique at 27:03 to finish off Feathered Edges)

@@mornedil69 I'll try your technique But for now I'll use mine, but if needed I'll use your technique to knock them out I ofen use robo fortune too. My better guess is use L4 and back attack as the ai is blocking or launched and dash to get better combo that's the combo I'll been using sins I got the robo fortune, X BOT

I have honestly never found another game quite like Dark Cloud (so I just end up replaying Dark Cloud every few years lol). I wish i could be more help but this game is pretty unique. If you still have the original PS2 disc but no longer have access to a PS2, you can download an emulator (PCSX2) and play the game from the original disc on PC! It's what I ended up doing since my PS2 is gone.

@@mornedil69 Is there no 3d dungeon crawler? I don't need a game exactly like it just the game play. I guess it would have to be 2 different games. A dungeon crawler and a town maker. I still actually need to finish Dark Cloud so I'll eventually replay it, I might actually get a PS2 because there's games I want to play I just don't want to buy it then it doesn't work for being so old. I'll just get a ps5 and get the psn. Physical games won't last forever so I guess I have no choice. I also want to play the dot hack series too
