Kona explores the yard and Maui basks in the sunshine

Our newest rescues, Kona (black) and Maui (gray) are doing great! They allow me to be within inches of them during feeding time. It is such a joy to see them doing so well and enjoying the beautiful weather. Kona (black cat) has a neurological issue when she walks. You can see her lose her step/balance when she walks over the rain gutter and on the cement patio. Luckily, she is not in any pain ...

Such a beautiful boy! He's so lucky to have you Karen. ❤ God bless you and all you do for these precious babies! ❤🐾
Yes the orange boys are so special! he is lucky to be with you, Karen!
Beautiful boy, sending you love ❤
I just recently lost my ginger Mainecoon and this cat has a striking resemblance to my Cowboy. His character was exactly like this boy, a big smooch! I'm so happy he is safe❤
Hey Karen! He's so blessed that he has your love!! 💕
In our 30+ years together, my husband and I have rescued a whole parade of animals from dire circumstances. They all became permanent members of our family and we cherish the many happy memories that we have of each and every one of them. We know that one day, we'll ALL be together again.❤❤❤
Kitty happiness
😮wow beautiful garden!
Beautiful
She looks exactly like my girl who just passed. We called her Beanie!!!😢
Hi Karen, I know this probably isn’t the right place to be contacting you but I’m struggling so much right now. My dog was sicker than we thought she was. We were told she had geriatric vestibular disease. She was put down on Monday with what we later assumed to be a brain tumour. She was constantly circling, head pressing and later just cartwheeling. I feel so so guilty for losing patience with her sometimes when she refused to take her medication or when she wouldn’t walk outside (which later we assume was just due to confusion) but if we’d tug on the leash a bit more aggressively than usual I feel just awful. I apologized to her over and over before she passed as she was my absolute angel on earth. I just feel so much guilt for being impatient or frustrated with her during her hardest times. I loved her more than anything on this earth and I just pray she knows how loved she truly was. She literally saved my life multiple times! I’m sorry for posting this I just had to get it out! I just listened to some of the podcasts you’ve been on and it’s helped me. ❤
