I have been playing guitar on and off for at least 2 yrs. I love funk guitar rhythms or heavy metals. I always find it difficult to learn some theory and apply it in terms of improv. There is no proper systemic expertise worksheets. It’s just so much confusion due to allot of content.

I downloaded the Amplitude 5 free version. I noticed that most of the brands and effects pedals you show are not available. One issue I am having is the Custom Tones. Say for example I want to sample Zakk Wydle. Even though I'm signed into the Custom Tones and inside the Applitude, I get a 104 Access Error or a Pop up that says sample is unowned. Any suggestions for that? Because so far I've not been able to test any sample tones. And apparently it's been an issue on the forums.

Can someone explain me why the sound is so muddy? Isn't it supposed to be good and clean?

try a speed pick rhythm seems only good for slower stuff speed pick the E or A string in a rhythm and you will notice its not tight enough something is way off

i cant get a good tight sound for speed metal. Its only good for big chords deep doom style metal but cant speed pick with the feel of a real amp. Been playing metal since the 80s this does not sound like my marshall its muddy and noisey. Maybe the plug in would help but something flattening of emotions would be nearly impossible to make sound right with this. Chuck Shuldiner would not have approved so far neither do I back my valvestate 8100 the real deal
