So wait a damn second. If we addressed matching up against Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum, we still haven't addressed Jalen Brunson? Why are people fearful of Jalen Brunson? I'm not. His offensive game mostly is predicated on flailing, flopping, and going into the body to draw fouls. Brunson is going to see longer, more physical and more versatile wings from this years 76ers team. Brunson is good, but you can slow him down. Also, Brunson has to guard Maxey as well. Maxey is going to take a book out of Brunson's bag and work on that middy. Brunson is going to have to slow down Maxey and good luck with that.

I always thought that spreading the money around (Klay, DeMar, Caleb, Trent, Precious Drum, Kelly) would have been the smarter play, but considering that the salary cap is probably going to go up by $35-$40 million in the next three years I’m not that worried about the fourth year of PG’s deal. I’m more concerned with extending Embiid considering that he has probably two elite years left. I want no part of paying him $70 million five years from now to get 45 games of 17/8.

The fact that the 76ers are relying so heavily on a starting lineup featuring 2 of the most injury prone stars, and then riding them out there with a thin, ancient bench is just screaming 6 seed and a 2nd round exit *at best* to me

E. Snow I understand your concerns, but Bronson has a hard time guarding Maxey too and if Joel Embiid was healthy...the series would've been different. Giannis struggles playing against Embiid and now you can put PG on him now a good defender who matches up against Giannis.

Joel is clearly out of shape, but the biggest problem to me is his mentality or mindset. If you still recovering from an injury, why would you play in the Olympics? If you’re 100% healthy but out of shape then why wouldn’t you prepare better? It’s all the mindset, that must change or Paul George come into Philadelphia will not make a difference

If the guys on Bleav are all for Gary Trent and Gordon Hayward coming to Philly they are essentially giving up on RC4. Bringing in another 6’5ish wing is going to take mins away from RC4. We need a 6’8+ rebounding, foxhole guy PF to compliment Embiid. We have a glut of wings why add another one who’s going to want big mins?
