I was a flight attendant for Pan Am I loved working for that airline I miss it so much
So many dreams come true...
As a young black man there was nothing more proud to see the Pan Am 34th Street Heliport. Would drive down RDR South just to see Pan Am there. What a good excuse...
Pan Am was the best run airline. They made mistakes of course. Treated all employees with class.
パンアメリカン航空、\(^-^)/。
The phrase, Shut It Down I HATE!!!!
I miss Pan Am 😢 And The Worldport
This was a great show, I don't know why they canceled it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Excelente!
I flew with Pan am in April 1990 from LAX to Stockholm Arlanda! Boeing 747 to JFK international! A great experience, miss Pan AM
Pan Am was just more than a simple airline - It was a life style, a philosophy and pioneering spirit.
Let the mail pile up sky high… You'll see it when you fly by -
This video brought me back so many memories .. travelling as a teenager / young adult, I loved travelling especially on Pan Am ..
Love this 'disco' Pan Am music: it is Super! 🕺
Now : say good bye to panam 😢😢😢😢
I Love PAN AM! From S.Korea
Hi. Good to see. Some great looks. Go safety and go good things. Go off e and go types , prints , world , and Time Life Company's, prints publishing addition the some familiars and video looks and picture , photo and camera. Good to see , brings up nice thoughts and Memory's. Great to see. Bests and Bests Great Day.
Great memories
Miss so much that old good times without cellphones, terrorism wars but full with style and Respekt . Pan am gone but never forgotten. LONG LIVE PAN AM
In 1:35 Pan Am is in the Philippines but as you can see on their back there's three philippine airlines, one is Philippine airlines airbus a300 "love bus decal".
Pan Am, TWA, American and 50+ years ago even United were GREAT airlines. Now look at the state of U.S. airlines.
so true . I was with T.W.A. We offered an international first class. NO U.S. carrier offers that anymore.
US airways*
Then it was truly first class. Even coach was better despite all the airline bankruptcies.
Thanks, Steve, for putting together such a great video. That takes me right back to my time with Pan Am in the 80s. 💙🌐✈️
Nothing said welcome to the 'Jet Age' like a Pan Am Boeing 707 rolling up to the Worldport at Idlewild (now JFK).
I. love Pan. Am. good 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇯🇵🇯🇵❤️💕👍👌
I. love, Pan. Am, good,🇺🇸🇺🇸🇯🇵🇯🇵❤️💕👍👌
Da vontade de chorar vendo essas fotos acompanhadas desta musica...bealtiful bealtiful
Yo tuve el privilegio de viajar en esta aerolínea en el año 1976. El servicio era de primera calidad. Gracias por compartir este excelente video.
My father flew the Miami to Rio route in the late 40's to early 50's. How do I know? I was born there. Then he became Chief Pilot in Hong Kong.
Flew LHR to JFK on Clipper Constitution, on return leg to London fell asleep for no more than 30 minutes on waking on waking noticed that breakfast had been served asked stewardess if I could have a breakfast, very abruptly told I had missed the breakfast service, 42 years on I still remember that and vowed never to fly Pan Am again.
I grew up when Pam Am was still around, and I traveled a lot, but, never experienced Pan Am.
An experience that was missed. Indeed.
If only their service was as good as this piece of advertising music.
Oh but it was. They served 5 courses in First between Dallas and New York. No airline today really approaches them - not Emirates, Ethiad, Singapore - with the sole exception of Lufthansa's First Class Terminal in Frankfurt.
GREAT!!!!
Its hard to believe they folded
The recession, deregulation, merger with National Airlines doomed Pan Am. Also Pan Am 103 & poor management. The best airline ever.
still the best
We talk about the elegance of flying in that era, but there's nothing elegant about walking to the plane in the rain and boarding up steep steps. Although I will admit that the pretty stewardess do compensate for that.
It was such a great beginning... BUT the CIA took it over....they HAD to kill it after too many people caught wind of the truth about PAA 103 being a cover up of IRAN CONTRA....and the cocaine was EVERYWHERE...
TWA all the WAY
0:34 what face was WEIRD
yo mama in 1977
🙏🏼💋❤️😢😢😢🙏🏼
Pan Am was the best in the world. Period. It is truly MISSED. 🇺🇸
If PA were the best in the world poor management certainly was to blame for its downfall.
@@bradt2797 Inept, horizonless thinking senior management at the Pan Am Manhattan Headquarters. Period.
Factors beyond management control. Pan Am 103, airline deregulation and the recession.
Pan Am had a monumental task. Less we forget Pan Am own the world...
I will start pan am again
I`m still waiting.
I would choose this career over just about any other any time! Commercial flying sucks these days. I only have pictures and old videos of the Jet Age, and I can only imagine how glamorous it used to be!
1:43 1:45 1:49 1:51 2:10 2:13 2:16 2:20 2:25 Don't sit or stand too close to jet engines! If you stand or sit extremely close to the engine blades, you could get sucked into the engine as soon as it starts!
Ok well for those pictures they obviously have them turned off for the photoshoot you genius 🤦♂️
0:59 Who is that Mongol lady with LBJ?
Isn’t she Hawaiian?
I always thought Bea Arthur would've been content with a bag of oats around her neck.
PAN AM was CLASS!
The world is not the same without PAWA in it . Period!!!.
I love this song! Greetings to Pan Am from the UK! :)
