I want to go to Ollwyn to visit the place where my forebears showed compaction with the Miners of the U.K and to thank the people of the Dulias Valley for marching with us in solidarity in the 29th of June London march of 1985. The gay and lesbian rights motion of the Labour Party was made possible by a pillar of the Ollwyn community, Sian James, who was inspired to take on politics by the Miners support group L.G.S.M, the motion was only passed because of ONE KEY UNION the National Union of Mine Workers. The times for workers and gay rights could be of been a lot different nowadays if not for these honorable and good people.
It's Really declined since the coalmines closed down.
