Actually these tractors were manufactured not by Belarus MTZ tractor plant but by XTZ Harkov or Vladimir plants in RU. Original name are T-25A but they were exported under Belarus 250 name. They have 2cyl Air/Oil cooled engine witg 25hp There were T30 version with 4x4. P.s.: this tractor shoud be started using pressure releasing valve what let start to me very easy not as yong gentelmen shown - by 2 krank cyclees...

surprisingly the motor sounds okay you may be lucky because it was fresh water I’ve owned 17 or 18 boats and the ones that sink in salt water are terrible to the engines I actually own a 1992 vessel that sunk in fresh water I pumped out the motor and it’s been running like a champ for more than 25 years without needing to go inside the engine ever btw it’s a two Stroke I’m not positive but I may have replaced the starter which is normal on that engine those starters often get abused and heat up destroying them prematurely now they have rebuild kits but for many years it was a dealer only new starter available best of luck on your 6X6 I grew up in SouthFlorida and I always liked that style buggy my cousins had a old Argo that went pretty well in the mud I wasn’t crazy about floating in it as it was pretty unstable and in Florida we have plenty of Aligators in our waters although I’ve never had any freinds get bit when in the water it does happen yeah I’ve swam in the water too as a rule Gators in the Wild leave humans alone it’s the ones people feed that lose their fear of us and associate people with food that’s why it’s against the law to feed them ? Btw I do know people that got bit when hunting Gators having a feisty one thrashing in the boat IMO that’s really just a Gator reacting to a situation they don’t want to be in and the people got too close

Can anyone explain how to put in gears? I got 1st (low), then reverse(fast). I have tried a bunch of ways, push forward, depress shifter, then right, for low, clutch, down to first on right, then reverse on left. I have gotten into 1st (high) but not sure how I did it. I am frustrated, any help would be appreciated.

I bought one new in 1992 and it only has 400 hours on it. The hours are probobly right because most people cant stand to run them things too long.

This tractor may be called "Belarus", but as far as I see it in this video it is absolutely the same as the Wladimirec T-25 (former XTZ T-25).
