Certainly! In this case the customer had used the vehicle for at least 6-7 years and it just sat in the desert sun all the time. But sometimes the sun is just kinder to some cars

Putting your hose on the ground and then directly touching the clear bra with it is the best way to install with dirt. No way there’s no dirt in there

Waste of material to do all this without a cutter plotter. So expensive in loss of material. Lets be honest.
Daniel Rivers we use plotters for a good portion of what we do, but on some parts we find a custom application will look best. Also there are times when we have a vehicle that there is no design available for it so we do what we do best.
Right and all the materials you weed out around a plotter cut isn’t a waste? Do you even install?
is there a reason you don't cover the stripes and do a one piece over the whole hood?
Mitch, We like to do the hood in sections only when the vehicle has vinyl stripes. Vinyl stripes are a bit raised than the original paint. When we install the clear bra, we go around the stripes first to avoid any gaps or air pockets formed in between the stripes versus doing one piece over the entire hood.
does that film need to be waxed?
Waxing the paint protection film will actually condition the film and help make it last longer. Traditional automotive waxes can provide a small level of protection on top of the film to protect against contamination from road oils, diesel smoke, pollen and pollution. Be mindful of which wax to use, do not use one that contains harsh chemicals such as naphtha or kerosene.

Yes, we either do a custom cut or use our pre-cut Design Access Program for OEM stripes.
