Kaharoa Kokako Track creek and waterfalls
A video of one of the most spectacular places I visited in NZ. The photos and videos still don't do it justice. This place was just magic!

This was the first day's walk of our week at Bunya Mountains and we decided on the long one. The more scenic one with lookouts. Fortunately the day was fairly mild, and we weren't in a hurry. We had decided to meet at 8am to start, and that turned out to be our standard start to each day. So, from our accommodations in Firefly Drive, the 10 Bush and Beach Walkers headed off bravely in search of...
Trees down June 2020

A video of a bunch of Camphor Laurel trees, pulled down at Cooloolabin, Sunshine Coast. The first line of trees on my neighbours place came down fairly easily. The last 2, on my property took a lot longer as they were a lot older and bigger.

GASOLINE VAPOURS ARE HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE !!!! DO NOT DO THIS !!!!
Thank you thank you,
The laminate has been down since 1979, and this method really worked. Thank you
Never seen anything so idiotic in my life!
I suspect this is very dangerous and even more dangerous if you have gas stoves with a pilot light. Also another less dangerous solvent would work as well like turpentine or a paint stripper.
You,if you must, should use low flashpoint mineral spirits and good ventilation. Safer by far than gas. 😂
lol. Why not just cover it with a new floor? You’re wasting your time.
If you're here looking for an easy way to first peel the vinyl from the concrete, there's a scraper attachment for your reciprocating saw. It works very well. I removed 300 sq ft in about an hour.
Please Get your flooring tested for asbestos people!!! You’re going to regret it if your kids have lung cancer when they’re not even 30! This type of felt back linoleum is most likely asbestos.
Better to sell your house and buy a new one. Avoid Asbestos.
Just have to take a moment and like, comment and subscribe because this was SO good of you to share this information. I realize you did not have to take the time to make this video. Very kind of you. My wif and I are looking at buying a very old house with this very problem. We are hoping to do the renovations ourselves. Money is tight and we are in our 60's. You have SAVED us. THANK YOU and just know you are helping FAR more people than those who are letting you know. We are in Texas but I am from the UK, born in London. Thanks again!!!
I brush pool acid on the tough spots, while wearing gloves and a face mask
I usually inspect the gasoline with my face really close - like an inch away, with a cigarette dangling out of my mouth. Dude, just spray some GOO Gone, it comes in big spray bottles and no risk of your house catching fire from turning on a light switch.
DIY is dangerously entertaining!
Nice video, thank you. Sorry my englisch is not so good. What liquid is in the red bottle?
Homie, you need a floor scraper with a long handle
Need a cigarette right now.maybe
This video is confusing. You didn’t like the idea of using petrol because it’s dangerous stuff but you used it anyway. Why would you want to make your home flammable? 😂😂😂
Recuerdo está canción tengo 36 y me costó encontrarla avía perdido la esperanza de encontrarla 😂😂 me encanta
I hope nobody actually lays Linoleum anymore
If you perforate the linoleum like you would wallpaper it may save you from scraping off the top finish layer
If possible leave the floor in place and do a floating floor over top of it. A floating floor can easily be removed in the future making the abatement of the Lino underneath easier when it eventually gets done.
My gosh- no pets? No family living there?
I hear lovebirds.
Don't do that, I did, all the house smelled like gasoline, the neighbor called the firefighters, and more than 5 trucks arrived, big trouble, let me dislike this video.
😂😂😂
How do you get of the gas smell afterwards?
Actually, there wasn't one. Once it evaporated it was all good. I did have a fan on all the time I was doing it to blow away the fumes, so that may have helped.
The easiest way to eat asbestos fibers
Stand up razor scraper. 40bucks 😂
can you smoke while doing this?
😂😂😂
Duhhhh-NO but if you do smoke then 💣🤯
Kaboommmmm
Yes
These videos drive me crazy😂😂 you can score the floor with a utility knife in strips of 4 inches than use a 4 inch scraper to remove it
Dude thank you for this. Been scouring UA-cam for methods to remove and have been weary of using flammable/fire solutions. This has helped a ton.
I was calling a professional by 2:26.
I heard that song when my then girlfriend told me that maybe …
Using petrol indoors??? Uh, no.
Doing mine as well, used terpentine on the glue it was like magic..the other room is like yours there, so I figure you scrape the top layer so the fuel can soak in...
Right, but isn't the point avoiding that back breaking first step?
White spirit?
Heat gun.
They have a machine for that
Let expose myself to asbestos... then throw some petrol on it !!!
It's adhesive. Apply heat to break down the bonds.
I'm a firefighter, this is why I will always have a job!
Don't do that, I did, all the house smelled like gasoline, the neighbor called the firefighters, and more than 5 trucks arrived, big trouble, let me dislike this video.
😂
Man I was waiting for him to light that s*** on fire after your comment LOL I was thinking please tell me this guy does not like this thing on fire but then at the same time I was thinking please do😂
Your neighbors didn't think to knock on your door to see what was going on first? And what were you doing the entire homes floor in one go start to smell that strong
Yeah... and similar methods would be acetone or even mineral spirits - which are both just as flammable xD Though now-a-days they do make some pretty strong adhesive strippers which are safer.
Acetone alone works.
Using another Non Flammable agent wouldn't have done the same job?
This video is not the easiest or cheapest. You need cheap fabric softener, boiling water, $store broom, and paint scrapers with disposable 4 "razor blades. We bought the scrapers that are about 18 in long. Buy extra blades you will need them.First if you peel the plastic top off the paper backing with glue will be left behind. Cut the top part with box cutter, peel plastic. Then boil water add about 1/4 cup fabric softener. Stir pour hot water on floor and spread with broom so it doesn't get on drywall. Leave for about 15 min. Then scrape in long sections. Once you have an open area and follow it, the rest should come up pretty easy. Make your dinner before hand because you will be too tired to care later. We did a 1600 sq ft house and we are in our 70s. It took time, one room at a time. Good luck hope this saves you money. 🌺🌲🌺

Click on link that's the easiest way to remove it , go watch and see
@irisstormo6913 - We used your boiling water and fabric softener tip and it worked perfectly! Thank you!!
Doesn't always work.
This method worked great on about 80% of my floor. Thanks. A couple suggestions for anyone trying it. (1) Make sure you have extra blades on hand. I think if my scraper blade have been changed out it would have done even better. (2) In some spots the backing left will be thicker. Try to get that part down before pouring the water.
Are you wanting to cause the death of people and the destruction of homes or buildings? DO NOT DO THIS. There are many methods and safe solvents available on the market as well as the proper tools...like razor scrappers. In fact, a cheep razor scrapper to take off the top surface 100 times faster than his putty knife the warm water with some dawn in it...flood the floor, let it sit and it will probably come up the same...but it depends on the glue used....like perhaps black asbestos glue would require a solvent. There is no where, no place that you should flood your floor with gasoline! NEVER!!! Please take down this video before it takes someone's life.
Dont be concerned about "As Best Us" (Asbestos) because the dangers are only realized when the product is in the dry form and made airborne as in sawdust and any process which creates abundant controlled particulates.
Floor would be sticky as fk
The older the vinyl more chance it's asbestos backed,
A lot of vinyl backing is asbestos, best way is leave it, go over the top with new product,
Is your house still standing? Petrol fumes burn “very rapidly” (‘very rapidly” is a synonym for explode).
Please tell me this is a piss take. As others have commented, looking at the age of the vinyl that backing contains asbestos and now the floor has a solvent in it that will contaminate anything laid on it.
I suppose you do not want to do this in winter.
