That tells me something about modern society and what they feel they are missing. Of course some will automatically want to try to find fault in all vintage things, those being the ones who want to destroy whole worlds and say they were the ones who created a whole new one, yet made just the way they personally like it because they know better than everybody else does.

That was a lot of rainstorming! I grew up in "Eagle Rock" which is between Glendale and Pasadena, but what you described sounded more like when I lived in Orlando, FL. There, the lightening was explosive, and you could set your watch to when the rains would come in the afternoons. Thanks for watching my video, too.

@@tjlehn3157 I'm going to have to say Milwaukee was. The granular horizontal-blowing snow that came off Lake Michigan was like sandpaper, and the cold seem much colder than either in Washington(Seattle) or here in Maine(Portland). I only lived in Milwaukee for just shy of 3 years though. It wasn't that bad living there, but you said to mention the worst place. Maybe Milwaukee is tie with Orlando though, but on the opposite spectrum. Orlando had humid air I thought I was going to die breathing! It also had questionable sinkholes to consider, and it had alligators to fear. I knew of an old man who I'd wave to each morning as he took his swim halfway and back in Lake Frederica. One morning it wasn't there. Then I found out an alligator got him while he was out there. Where I lived, I once had a panther in my back yard, too. I liked the multitude of fireflies though! No place I lived seemed like pure hell either. Thankfully I always chose decent neighborhood to live in. That makes all the difference in the world.

@@AviationMushy737 My guess is that Maine would love to have you come visit, even stay for as long as you pleased, too. Better pick "Portland" though, it's got everything big cities do. Some towns don't, and you'd have to drive into Portland to get what you wanted.

I video from the Back Cove, but up on the Eastern Promenade would be a lot better. Anywhere along the coast would be pretty though. If you get over to Portland Head Light you'll have a pretty lighthouse to look at as well, and an old fort to investigate. I hope the weather cooperates for your visit. "Happy Birthday!", by the way! I just thought of something, so I returned to say that I don't know if Portland Head Light will be open to visitors during the hour when the sun will be rising. The Eastern Prom will be the better option probably. Mackworth Island is a nice place too. There's a walking trail that circles the island, and you can drive right onto it from a causeway, too.

Thanks again. I almost went to my back door to video the snow falling down right now but wanted to watch some videos first. I might not though, I've been awake since 5 AM. I'm glad you got to see Venus, the second closest planet to us, by the way, in case you didn't know yet. Everybody gets "Mars"'s attention, and then there's the moon... poor super bright innocent Venus seems to get neglected, so I put her right in there! Maine said to sing "hello" for it. I can't do that on a keyboard so you'll have to sing 'hello' to yourself from us, okay. Sing it in the chord of "E" maybe, break out a guitar if ya got one. I'll keep tranquil thoughts if you promise to have extra peace too. Live well, and "bee fun knee" once in awhile. It makes the normal, stuffy types look over and wanna be like you are too... free.

Lovin' it... so far. Shouldn't frown upon even ice storm climate though, it's another day to breathe air anyways. I'd rather have it, than not get to any.

In a world which provides what little it does, contentment creates in me a form of tranquility and even 'personal kingdom mentality that's peaceful enough to get through each day with. Peace is better than gold or silver, or some valuable but dusty object you thought you once wanted, but don't now. Life is always better than it isn't, and things could always be that much worse that we think. I have a kitchen, bed to fall asleep on, internet to watch videos on, a bathroom, a stove and fridge, sinks, closets for storage, heat and AC, secure walls for my protection and a roof over my head to protect the weather from bothering or harming me. Some stores are right down the block not far away. A bank secures my small fixed-income retirement allotment from the SSA. Some in the world don't have any such things, and they must line up for what little food and water they can be offered... hoping the food and water doesn't run out before they can get some maybe. My channel isn't bringing me the multitude of quick comments that I was hoping for. I like 'people' still. I like animals. Friendly dogs on the walking trail want to lick my face and then try to practically swap spit with me. I'm so extraverted it's pathetic. I grew up in a back yard swimming pool. We'd all have loud, happy, musical, adventurous fun all day long back in the 70's days. I still have pool water pumping through my veins and heart, but at least I know it. I only wish the world was one big fun swimming pool we all could happily share and have fun in...surrounded with sunshine, cool breezes and grassy lawns and clean, sandy beaches. It's still got to be out there somewhere...

The moon is "so bright' for two reasons that I know of. One, a video camera has a hard time recording its best when there are both bright and darkness next to each other. That's why it focused a whole lot better when I simply zoomed in on the moon and filled the frame with only it. Second, I am very new to using a video camera or any other. I try using 'autofocus' first, and switch to manual setting after it doesn't work for me. I am watching UA-cam videos about how to set ISO, white balance, and stuff like that, but it still confuses me when their advice doesn't work like they told me it should. So I just fool around the best I can. Hello from Maine. Thank you for watching my lonely, practically 'dusty' channel. The moon is a lot easier to record when it in on the horizon and not further up in the night sky also. I also make videos to get outside and talk with people, and for getting comments on my videos also. Thanks for leaving a comment. Us 'old guys' like getting those.

@@willoughby1888 You can give the string method a try as long as only one pump is on. Im assuming if both pumps are on they would fight each other and possibly burn out. You probably wont have to clean them for over a year!! I hope you stay cool and God Bless you!!!
