I'm not a teacher, though it was interesting to get some insights on this, and i feel like your tips are really useful since I'm trying this year to make some changes, to eliminate some of the chaos that I accumulated over the years. I work from home, so although I cannot stop completely bringing work home, I should try to get as much of it out to a Caffè or library, because sometimes home does not feel like home anymore...
