Strength Equals II
United States
Приєднався 9 вер 2020
• My name is Frank & my profession is serving as a firefighter in my community. Strength training & nutrition is not only my passion & obsession but it also has direct benefits for my line of work. I'm always continually trying to improve upon my strength training workouts & nutrition. I've learned from trying out different methods & nutrition.
• From my experience I believe that the average person doesn't want to do what's considered a traditional gym workout. For the past couple decades I've studied, researched, & experimented with untraditional or outside of the box workouts which, many of you can do right from your own home at little to no cost at times. Whatever circumstance you're in, where ever you live, or whatever fitness level you're at, there's always a way to workout in a way that's more suited for you in your unique situation.
• I'd love to share with you what I hope will change your point of view of strength training & nutrition & give you a fresh perspective on things.

Getting awkward again.

I've haven't done this routine for a couple of months, wanted to concentrate on BB. It's time to bring back the "hard work".
I have a granite one that probably weighs a lil more but about half the size of my Limestone one , They both have there pros and cons! keep at it brother. Monkey strength! I might even try making some concrete round stones using the bouncy balls as forms!
Ahhh the first person in the world with the same set up as me ^^ hands free lifting will make your back huge, good work
@@godeater6382 Thanks. I agree, if you really wave to target the back something like this needs to be done. If course of you don't have this set up can you can still work your back and it will grow. I believe this just gets you there more and faster.
The friggin Hulk!!!
That is strong. interesting idea, it is a realy big hasele to get just the right stones for most people. so this simplifies it alot and you can make it into any weight you want.
Man lifting stones is awesome I should get back to it really. Weird shaped objects are the real deal. Nice video!
I love your content, you're so genuine and that makes it great. You're making great progress and I'd say I'm jealous, but it's my own fault I've been lazy so I'm watching videos like yours and Stone Circle to motivate myself to keep working.
Well done, your metal stone lift idea is great! Good to see you regularly uploading again.
@@dave_stewart954 Thanks! I'm trying to upload more content. I'm just some guy with a garage gym and a phone camera, with "delusions" that someone might want to watch what I'm doing. .
@strengthequalsii626 the guys in their garage videoing workouts on their camera phone are exactly the type who put out genuine content, keep up the good work!
Yeah! Actually my next video is on my progress.
Are you still training to lift the husafel stone?
That 360 was awesome very strong...360 stone is brutal...
Good form. I don't go so heavy personally. I prefer lighter weights for more reps. It reduces the risk of injury. ROM is important for general mobility. If you are in a position that is properly conditioned, the strength generated from said position will be better. As you said, though, fun and enjoyment are important. Keep on building.
USELESS !!
@@tugboat-ni9yp why?
@@strengthequalsii626 highly probable you will get injured in this movement
@@tugboat-ni9yp No more dangerous than anything else I do. If you listen to the video I talk about the importance of doing something a little "scary".
Good stuff
Great lift. What weight you think?
@@petehalupka1 365lbs
Great video! I fully agree with what you said😎
Very good, but i would try to always try for the same amount of reps and measure how long you take, trying to improve time.

that's nuts! like 1.5X my body weight!
Excelente entrenamiento 💪 saludos desde Paraná Entre Ríos Argentina
I’m pretty sure that’s a Incline Chest Fly Machine, unique way of using it but I ain’t gonna hate cause u getting that work in
@@viciousvagabond1419 That's exactly what it is. However your imagination (I guess mine) the used are many, case and point.
@@strengthequalsii626dude! Does it get your back lit ? 🔥 It looks like it’s working .
@@nickybjammin7629 Yeah the pump and fatigue in the upper back is on point.
@@strengthequalsii626 that’s i need! Cool technique. I love it when a tool works for something else. 🔧💪🏼🔨 I hit subscribe last night after I left my comment. Awsome video Brotha!
That's quite the contraption, looks a little awkward for hand placement.
@@chrisbfreelance Is not to awkward definitely challenges the hand strength.
Awesome looking strong man, keep up the work, very impressive. The old man.
Nice one from glasgow scotland 🏴 keep it up 💪
Get a backpack. Easy to put plates or dumbbells in them. This looks uncomfortable and unrelaible for progress in the movement.
@@A-A-RonDavis2470 No discomfort at all. Very stable and can continually progress very easy by adding plates. I've tried the back pack way. The backpack works, however it gets very shifty and very hard to get more than 100lbs in it.
Hi Frank. Been watching your videos for a while. In which area of New England are you located? I live in Bennington, Vermont. It would be nice to train with you one day. I do a combination of calisthenics (primarily: weighted chin-ups, weighted dips, weighted hangs, and muscle-ups) and kettlebell training (e.g. swing variations, clean & press, snatch, squat), along with direct neck work. I also did natural stone lifting for a few years (2020-2023) and powerlifting meets before that, from 2008 to 2016.
Just ask your partner to sit on your upper back.that’s how I do weighted push-ups. Do it everyday, 1~2 sets everyday, low reps, without going to failure. You’ll get stronger amazingly fast. I can have two persons on my back for three controlled reps
Good job! More videos like this!
Good
Hi! My partner has started watching your videos, and often shows them to me. I have to say that I am extremely ashamed that society/females have made you feel the need to pause and think before speaking about being manly. I say haters are always going to find something to hate on regardless of what you do or say, so please be manly! Trust me, the world needs far more manly men in it (even if some say otherwise!) Never be ashamed of who you are! Proudly let your manly flag fly!!
you channel inspired me to start strenght training , thnak you very much for your work
@@fedepatagonia You're welcome. I'm happy to have helped you to start lifting. Please keep watching and we can keep getting and staying strong together.
Good push up setup 👍
Well done, good to see you back training with odd objects again!
@@dave_stewart954 Yeah definitely! It has to be a part of training. I can never go to long without it. The best way to check if you're muscle building program is working.
This is what the cavemen did. i like it
You’re no joke!!! I should get a smaller bag.
@@natalierussell5236 Thanks. Yeah you should get a sand bag.
Not many folks know what this feels like. Keep up the hard work.
Im adding this lift to my program. I've been using stones to deadlift but this looks way easier to progress.i won't need 50 more stones 💪
@@EganMethod Definitely a good addition! Easier to measure your progress also. I'm loving it, it is very close to actual stone feel.
All training that yields any success in terms of hypertrophy, follows the priciples of HIT. All training that doesnt, does not
Loving this content
I’ll hit you with a sub brotha. Loving the odd lift content. Keep it coming
245lbs is no joke dude! I’m hoping to get my 185lb soon. You’re on another level! Get it
cool
How did you make that sandbag? What did you use?
How good is that timer on the wall?

Clever
Beast!
Great idea. I will make mine.
I like the way you use the threadmill. Great idea.
Keep up the great work.
BADASS
There you go....your own Scottish rocks system. I thought about that since we have some and people are always giving them away.
