Just some of my takeaways after re-watching Anohana, and also a message for others who needs to hear it from someone. Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai) is an original anime released way back 2011, and yet, it is still considered one of the classic drama anime you can recommend to anyone. There's nothing quite like the story of Anohana,...

Just some thoughts I realized after reading Blue Period. Blue Period is a unique manga that dives deep to a life of an artist. It just sometimes hits you hard when you don't expect it too and its one of those manga that just stays with you even after you finish reading it. It is a true hidden gem and a definite must read for everyone who loves reading and consuming great manga.

The latest anime that managed to reach my heart. Josee, the Tiger and the Fish is a romantic comedy drama film based on the 1984 short story by Seiko Tanabe. The story focuses on two adults, the college student Tsuneo and the dreamer Josee who lives her life stuck in a wheelchair. After a fateful encounter, Tsuneo unexpectedly becomes the caretaker of Josee in order to raise money for his dream...
Honest Guide to Enjoy Anime MORE (again)

Oh gosh, please don't cancel me for not watching all the best anime yet. But seriously, if you haven't enjoyed watching anime lately, these few tips might help you out enjoy anime again. It is not rocket science nor a hidden formula you need to follow, but just some few things that we may have forgotten.
**For normal PC use:** The Kensington Orbit Wired is amazing! Its cheap, its super smooth and doesnt get sticky, comfortable, comes with a added wrist rest you can choose to use or not, ambidextrous, and takes no batteries. **If you want to competitively game:** The wireless Orbit with the wired blue ball in it is my favorite setup. The gameball is amazing, but too expensive and is a little uncomfortable. The wireless Orbit is great, but only when you use it with the wired blue ball in it, because the ball it comes with is too sticky for some reason (its weird but its true, both the red and grey balls are more sticky than the wired blue in my experience by quite a big margin). Im currently using the wireless Orbit+blue ball, and I am Diamond 4 dps role queue, and Masters 2 in open queue. Cannot recommend the Orbits enough!
wow, save your time - all he really says is that different ones are different = soooo helpful.
Ugg cleaning again, I remember balled mice, if trackballs mean this all over again, then I'll stick to a regular LED mouse with larger monitors to reduce RSI instead!
Trackball mice actually arent as bad as the ball mice back in the day. The reason why is the old balls would roll along the table/matt and pick up all junk from the surface so they needed cleaned a lot (hair, dust, crumbs, etc). These trackballs stay off the table, so they mainly only get dirty from your fingers. Some may be a lot stickier than others depending on the one you get though, because bearings play a big role in trackball selections. If you are looking into a trackball to try, the Kensington Orbit Wired is amazing for the price (like $30 usd I think) and is the trackball I recommend to everyone! The ball is one of the smoothest ive ever used (and ive had a ton of trackballs), its cheap, and its so comfortable in my opinion.
Trackballs are also generally a lot easier to clean and in my experience, don't need it as often. My Slimblade Pro trackball isn't even held in place in the socket at all, I can simply pick it up and give the three bearings a quick swipe with a fingertip and it's good as new. My Elecom balls are slightly held in place, but I literally just have to poke them from a hole in the bottom of the device to pop the ball out and do the same. The only one I have that's even remotely less convenient is my Kensington Orbit Fusion, which also uses the poke-from-below method to pop the ball out, but the hole is smaller so I have to use a pen instead of my finger. I use a trackball for ~12 hours a day at work, formerly my Elecom Huge for several months and more recently my Slimblade Pro, and I take a few seconds to clean them maybe twice a week.
I've been enjoying my Kensington slim blade a lot, but there is one issue that I notice with many of the available trackballs around: They are lacking in cool colorways! Being able to use my trackball ambidextrously has helped a lot with my shoulder pain, but I still can't help wanting trackballs to look as stylish as the lavender Logitech lightspeed mouse lol. You're right when you said that it's a shallow rabbit hole. Great video! It was very well made. Thanks for showing off many of the available options right now!
You could get the ploopy trackball kit which is 3d printed. So you can basically order the pcb and hardware and then get a 3rd party printing service to make the case with a custom filament since the cad files for the case are open source. But the issue is that the ploopy is just really meh compared to a modded elecom huge or a kensington in terms of smoothness. Also doesn't have any bluetooth options. I'm thinking I will work on making my own outer casing for the elecom huge at some point. It basically is the perfect trackball once you get marble scroll and replace the bearings.
Some autocad experts love trackballs since they like that they can be a little more precise. I would consider using one as a left-hand mouse though if i needed to give my right hand a break.
Current setup at home for Civil3D is the MX Ergo and a Razer Tartarus and I love it. Pretty much don't have to move my hands at all apart from flipping plans or entering numeric. Going to add a standalone numpad to sit next to the Ergo.
I had a thumb trackball growing up instead of a mouse, my dad got it for me because I didn't have a very big desk. I don't think I'd go back but it's definitely fun to think about !! :D
ive been around trackballs since i was young cause my dad uses them for work, he took some home. i currently use a kensington expert that i found in my garage. its so good, its so much better than a regular mouse.
Trackball mouse are pretty much standard in recording studios as well. If you visit any big recording studio, they are most likely using a trackball mouse, as it makes is super easy to move around your daw (most likely pro tools) without moving your hand with a regular mouse. But realistically, if you are doing editing, graphics design or anything related to digital art/media production, you'd be better off using a pen tablet and will be thanking yourself for saving your wrist in the future. (it's what most people use in the post-production world, and basically standard in every VFX studio)
The trackball solved my wirst pain so i can say im a fan of it. I use it while at work
I've been using trackball nice for about 20 years now. Love em. Latest one in using is the MX Ergo which is great.
Mouse is specific to humans, trackballs are universe standard. Anyone can use them, with hands, claws, tentacles, mind power, etc.
can i touch that *ball*
I've been using a trackball now at least 5 year. I use it for regular use and gaming--including 3rd and 1st person shooters. I used to have major problem with ganglion cysts from playing drums and using a standard mouse. Now the pain and the problem has completely gone away.
I bought a kensington slimblade about 15 years ago. I remember the day it stopped working and I freaked out trying to buy a new one, the exact same one because it was home to me. Well, I reached out to kensington and told them it stopped working. They just sent me a brand new one for free. Years outside of warranty. I'm using that mouse right now to this day. Even after I redid my entire desk with zero cables, I still let it be the one cable on my desk. going to uprade to the bluetooth version soon. Considered the big boy though with the 400 DPI, but I don't feel like changing what I know I love.
I'd be super sad if the trackball market dried up entirely, because I found I'm dramatically more accurate with a trackball than with a mouse. On top of that, moving a mouse for several hours every day hurts my arm and elbow something fierce, and the only alternatives in that realm are those stupid upright mice that never have gaming-quality sensors or polling rate and look dorky. I'll be using my GameBall and my Elecom Deft Pro for as long as I possibly can, though I might look at getting something by Ploopy in the future; apparently BTU bearings are smooth as butter, albeit a tiny bit noisy.
i have never met a trackball that masters scrolling like the g502 infinity wheel does...
I have the g502x with the wireless charging pad but I want to try the kensington slimblade pro to see if I like it
"Playing with my balls for 7 days"
Best to just use the track ball for work and browsing then switch to a gaming mouse when you need to game instead of trackball for everything.
thumb trackballs exist and are far better. for example, Logitech M570, Elecom EX-G. they are far closer to a traditional mouse
Gotta try an elecom huge, it's the closest thing to the microsoft explorer trackball. All the benefits of the pointer and index trackball of the kensington style (plus adjustable sensitivity) along with a thumb cluster that is just amazing. You should also consider setting up marble scroll, it really makes trackballs feel awesome.
Love trackballs been using thumb and finger ones for 15 years. Expert is great choice, but it for sure needs a dpi increase ha
What's your top 3 trackballs?
Logitech Mx ergo 👌🏼
trackballs need to become touch-sensitive, so I can tap on the ball itself.
Hello po, I'm a little confused on which one to get. As someone who uses Adobe programs for editing/clipping paths. Which is better? The Slimblade, or the Expert? Thanks!
For me, I chose the Expert because of its better buttons, and scroll ring. Keep in mind as well that the Expert only has 400 DPI while the Slimblade has more DPI options. If this is a downside, I found that using mouse acceleration fixes this problem for me (I made a video about this on my channel). Lastly ergonomics, both are great but I found that the Slimblade was a bit lacking in terms of comfort as I didn't know where to place my hand while the Expert has a bit of a learning curve with its angled position.
@@marukudeibu thanks for your insights! I feel like the Expert mouse is more ergonomically designed. But isn't it out of date compared to slimblade?
Spec wise, yes it's a bit outdated but so far after 3 months of usage, I haven't had the need of changing the battery of the Expert wireless while the Slimblade wireless, though its newer with it's rechargeable battery, I ran into more of tracking issues with it as for some unknown reason it gets disconnected for a few seconds while on wireless mode, and on other occasions, it takes a few seconds to turn on again after being on sleep mode (not using it for a while). For performance, both are smooth for tracking and I didn't see any noticeable lag behind the Expert. And if you're worried about wireless issues and don't bother a cable, I recommend getting the wired versions.
saw the epic koss, i also love trackball mice
whats the game at 1:44?
it's not a game but it's wallpaper engine
@@marukudeibu which small keeb is that shown and the maker of wallpaper used in your WE?
@@BryantJoy the small keeb is Corne and i don't know the exact maker of the wallpaper but it should come up if you search sheep on WE
@@marukudeibu Thank you for your reply! I'll look them up. Enjoyed your content.
I love trackballs and will never go back to mice.
Love the charts, super helpful!
I noticed that you have a Protoarc Trackball mouse. How does it compare to your two Kensingtons?
i'm not sure if mine just had qc issues but the ball gets stuck every now and then, and it's not the smoothest, also changing dpi sucks but ergo wise its decent for its price
Parang gusto ko na ring magpabudol.
Awesome. Thanks for the followup video 🤘🤘
trackballs seem interesting, I gotta try one out in the future
Great video! Would love to watch a video about mousepads from you soon c: Im still using a G102 lightsync becuase of its mouse shape, though I have heavily modified it to be more comfortable to play with xd
logitech g102 is still actually goated even with its double clicking lottery, that's what i always recommend for first time gamers
Is that a Corne keyboard?
yes
Can I ask a question? What software did you use to make those playlist videos?
