Thanks, i'm trying so hard to get the vids up ahead of judging to help promote the fundraiser but I know I will have too many vids to pull that off. I'm hoping to at least do all 4 felt ships by the end date and will do the paper mache space station and final assembly vids after judging :)

Yeah, this was only the second thing I'd needle felted so there was a lot of learning going on at the same time...one of which is wear rubber thimbles on all my finger tips! 😂

Thanks! Yeah I don't always use one. Sometimes I find them more annoying to deal with. Honestly if I had flesh colored cosclay I would have prefered to use that so I wouldn't have to be as delicate with it. The double pins help keep it really stable on my shirt and the tail is thick enough that it is less likely to break. The legs are the only risk but even with wires they'd still have a high chance of crumbling or breaking I /when I drop it

The first is THE best! I love the older style of suspense in filmmaking that we just don't have anymore. Everything now is all loud noises telling you how to feel instead of moments of silence and scene sounds.

ah yeah life's been a tad crazy for me in the last 6 months with having to move twice and getting pregnant! I'll be sharing the chest burster soon as I was finally able to film. I'm also part of an international collab challenge coming out at the end of the month I am committed to finishing so you'll see some vids soon for sure :)

haha i have a photo of that spider when it's out at night...it's REALLY unsettling and i too don't have issues with them...but there are some you just don't want looming over your head!

Aww thanks! I am pretty happy with the result. I wish i'd used the background pigment powder to make like a glowing bigger spider or glowing eyes behind it through the web...maybe next time!

Thanks so much! I've actually modified it a bit and will be doing a follow up vid showing how I changed the ether drive to be removable, magnetically connected, and a replacement end so it can stand straight up like it does in the show! I'm still working on how to do the little stand legs, but hoping to get that done in the next few weeks. I'm super tempted to do Horace and the El Dorado at some point too.

lol thanks! i used a lot of horse skeleton references to decide how to draw it. it's not perfectly anatomical but good enough to seem like it :D

Thank you so much 😀 You totally should try it out, the prompts are great for sparking creativity and you can do something super simple, doesn't have to be detailed, could just be a silhouette or something. I like playing with all my different pens and seeing what effects I can do with them too because I rarely touch my black ink anymore.
