Try switching on the hub power first and then only connect it to computer. I will make gain with 2.0 new model and 3.0 hubs because these old types of hubs are not available in the market.

If this fails do this. Don't cut positive wire but connect a diode from positive power line (from computer) such that current flows from laptop/desktop to hub but hub power can not enter laptop/desktop. This will surely work.

This is premium IC and its is still not available readily in the market. Here the resistors and capacitors used have very high quality. Price couldn’t be lower than 1300.
