USTA OC SoCal 4.5
In our SoCal 4.5 league match, I teamed up with Ahbi to take on Cerritos (Rafa and Anthony). Spot me wearing a white hat and black long sleeves, while Ahbi is dressed in all black. Despite struggling a bit with my returns due to experimenting with a new string setup, Ahbi carried the team as usual.

Played the Southern California Tennis on Campus Alumni Tournament 2022 Men's doubles NTRP 4.5 - 5.5 tennis tournament last weekend making it to the upper bracket semi-finals with my buddy and partner Lawrence (white shirt/hat). Met up at 7:30am to practice with Lawrence for our upcoming tournament. Got absolutely crushed by my buddy Jonathan Sanchez. Keeping the losing streak alive. For context, Jonathan was a decorated D1 player. Hey Nikko, I'm recording on a GoPro hero 10 black, hanging off the fence on a QM-1 mount. Super frustrated when I first got it because it kept overheating. I guess it wasn't the intended use case to do longer recording sessions under the sun. I ended up solving the problem recently by using an external power bank which seems to work well now. Let me know if you have any other questions!

This was a great video to watch! Phillip's been my tennis coach for like the past year and a half. It's nice seeing another 1-handed backhand user out there, Tyrone.
Yes, we're a dying breed, but us one-handers have to stick together. Phil is a fantastic coach, as I'm sure you already know! Every time I play with him, he gives me little pointers that make a huge difference in my game. I need to schedule time with him - thanks for the reminder!

I like the saying “act like you’ve been there before”! If it’s a great point or a much needed point some celebration or exuberance is cool. But to me the up and downs this guy must feel from being excited then pissed off when the point either goes for him or against him must be exhausting!
