DO NOT buy the DJI Lavalier. Look up informed reviews on the microphones. The noise floor is awful. He actually has the highest recommended lav with the Shure MVL BUT you do need a trrs to trs adapter for it to work properly with the DJI Mic 2 so just be cautious. The sound quality is much better, and the noise ratio is much wider with the noise floor being much less noticeable. Get the Shure MVL. Much better microphone from a company that specializes in high quality audio solutions.

right by the midpoint bench theres a classic blue pickup truck that drove off of the mountain side decades ago and you can kind of see it if you look down from that point. you can also find the trailer that was attatched to it in the same area.

How do you crash an omni directional obstacle avoidance drone? I crashed my air 2s flying sideways but i cant crazy my air 3 if i wanted too.

Be careful with powerlines. Your drone should do a pretty good job helping you avoid running into things but power lines are tricky because they are thin and can be missed by the collision sensors. Also be aware if your drone looses connection with your controller it will try to fly home. That mean first it will try to make sure it has some altitude then fly back. This means if you are far away and under a bridge or tree when it looses connection it will fly up into the tree or bridge. Usually drones don't have sensors on the top to stop this from happening because its rare. You drone should have pretty good range so this isn't going to happen close. Also remember the signal isn't magic it has limitations. The more obstacles between you and your drone the less your range will be. When in doubt, altitude will often help get a good signal when at long range. A good way to understand signal is to imagine if you had a laser and everything in the world was reflective like a mirror. How would your laser light bounce to the drone, keeping in mind that every time it bounces only 1/10th of the power will go in the direction you need it to. I'm rambling now but I want to tell you about something that happened related to this. I had blue tooth headphones in and my phone was in my back pocket. I was in the middle of a very open football field. And my headphones were cutting out. I realized it was because there was nothing for the signal to bounce off of. If the grass would have been taller I wouldn't have had that problem but it was short. My phone was in my left rear pocket and my Bluetooth headphones had one that was the master (the right one). When my leg with the phone in the pocket went forward the phone couldn't get the signal through my body. I figured out to walk with my head turned to one side so the main earbud could connect. I'm saying all this because if you intend to fly your drone you will probably start flying farther and farther as you get comfortable, and understanding the connection to your drone and how it will react when it looses connection is how you get to keep flying it. You have to register your drone if it’s over 249 grams

If you want to post the drone videos on your channel here, you will need to get the Part 107 Certificate. Trust is fine if you want to fly and keep videos for yourself. As stated otherwise, you need to register the drone with the FAA and label it with your tail number. It is in this case based on size but in the future, will also be based on wanting to use the video commercially.

Another thing you're REQUIRED to do is to register that drone with the FAA and place the FAA Identification number you receive on the side of it. Failure to do so could result in Federal charges. This is required by law to legally fly it. If you fly at night you will need to take yet another test for night flight and you must add an anti-collision beacon/light visible from 3 nautical miles.
