    I too was triggered and this is coming from someone who not only watched all the episodes, but also have learned a LOT about my own dysfunction from childhood. I’m totally with you b/c I was fussin at the tv, too! Brijet was extremely brave and mature and her family really annoyed me; they were NOT ready to deal with their issues and tried to make it seem like Andre was the blame. I love them together and I genuinely don’t understand why it matters if they’re sleepin in the same bed. That’s a GROWN WOMAN! The only one she gotta deal with is the LORD who sees EVERYTHING. I usually hate episode reviews, but giiiiiirl, I’m WITH YOU here. Mom annoyed me b/c she got mad at Brijet for how BRIJET perceives HER trauma. And her kids coddle mom instead of callin her out. Brijet is brave b/c she knew how to articulate her needs as well as go and seek help. Coming from someone who also went to therapy, its incredibly difficult to try to be the one to resolve family dysfunction when no one else is ready to deal with issues head-on. One of the biggest things I took away from therapy is setting healthy boundaries and teach people how to treat you!!! That’s why now, I’m not passive aggressive, my marriage is in a much better place, and I have a relationship with my dad (who I didn’t talk to for 10 years…even though my parents are still married and live in the same home). Im sorry for the rant, but oooooooh wee this episode had me in my feelings!!!!

    • @SimplyShakeila
      @SimplyShakeila Рік тому

      I’m with you sis! I definitely saw myself in her as well and the family dynamic really triggered me bc of my own trauma. This episode was definitely mind blowing and stood out the most. I hope she continues to heal and her family starts the healing process bc they are toxic af.
