This was spot on Mr. Nate. So, the other traffic stopped and the Waymo realized their courtesy and made its turn to drop you off. That's pretty dope. Good job in pulling off that quick wheelchair disassembly and leaned-back self-done loading of your chair in the back seat of the Waymo, Mr. MagnateDove! Also, good point at 3:15 that Waymo should consider wheelchair-ready vans in the future, especially for riders who aren't so quick, strong, and daring, as you were here. In the meantime, can Waymo do any more to make Jaguar I-Paces easier to use for someone like yourself? IMO, they should arrange a meeting with you and some wheelchair manufacturers and consider things like how far that front seat can slide back, what is mounted on the ceiling of the car (can that be relocated or made more flush with the car's ceiling), which models of wheelchair can fit the way you did it, and, for goodness sake, can riders with disabilities get more time (compared to standard riders) for loading and unloading? As a current Hyundia and Mazda owner, Mazda all the way. The Korean brands do not stand up over time like the Japanese. Never mind the countless recalls and class action lawsuits (over $2B in warranty and recalls for Q3 2022, enough said), they fall apart as they age. The CX90 is built in Japan, along with most of their other models. My 5 decades working with nearly every manufacturer tells me stick with one of the 3 Japanese brands (Toyota Honda Mazda)

The Palisade for sure is a nice rig and offers good value, but the CX-90 is absolutely worth the extra $$. The Mazda is soooooooo much better looking inside and out, faster and handles much more competently. We picked up a new Acura MDX A-Spec in the last year and if the CX-90 was available at the time, we almost certainly would have went that route.

Kudos to the reviewer for this detailed comparison! It's refreshing to see two strong contenders in the SUV market.

Yuri, I totally get what you mean about the eco system. I have a 2016 CX-5 and ordered a 2023 CX-5 and love the rotary dial life. I have elantras and Corollas at work and I hate using that touch screen, especially when I'm on a bumpy road, my finger keeps moving when I want to select stuff. Plus no finger prints if I don't use the touch screen.

CX-90 by far is a better buy.

Last year drove Hyundai Kona with Lane Keep Assist. It was the best lane keeper I've ever drove: it keeps the best trajectory on any speed and do it very comfortable. The second place I give to Opel Grandland. Interesting is it the same over all cars in Hyundai.

you compared highest Mazda CX 90 trim with lowest or mid tier Palisade trim. I really wanted to see the difference in trims at similar prices. E.g. Calligraphy vs Turbo Premium plus

I think all these reviews are sleeping on the lower trim CX-90s. Mazda always has really good value options, and the trim levels always feel very fairly equipped. The inline six really helps with the premium feeling, not sure it really matters if it has more HP or not. 280hp in base trim is more than adequate. Whatever the first trim that unlocks the bigger rims is probably the sweet spot.

More power, better FE, better driving dynamics, more premium interior... I'll take the Mazda.

I use the blind spot camera views all the time in my Genesis! It works great!

I currently own a 2020 CX-9 AWD Signature and there is NO CHANCE that I would pay $60K for ANY vehicle with a Mazda badge on it. Give me the Palisade.

After the blatant price gouging from Hyundai over the pandemic, I will never buy another Hyundai (or Kia) for the rest of my life. In fact I just bought a 2025 CX-70 Turbo S Premium Plus and thoroughly enjoy my excellent purchase price AND seeing all those Hyundais in my rearview.
