I saw a race there in the early 2000's. The race was ok but the whole experience was awesome.
Ridiculous hoax
They need to take out 75000 seats. Cant though
They need to make the oval and the dragstrip part of the road course that they had originally planned back in the 60s. NASCAR is dying and road course races are dominating.
Wish I could live there
Very well done. Thanks for producing this.
Frieden auf der Welt ? Vielleicht möglich wenn die Amerikaner sich nicht als Weltpolizei überall einmischen und danach verbrannte Erde und Chaos hinterlassen.
👍👍👍👍👍
Did they ever have pro wrestling? Seeing WrestleMania now days ,seems like it be perfect except not being a big city
Fun place to go and have a great time
Didn't Arnold Murray from The shepherds chapel translate the Bat Creek stones. He has a documentary and kentucky stones?
Never heard that. I'll look into it.
it is all backwards. it went from he Americas to other countries not the other way.
I worked at Cortrim for 28 yrs. I watched at burn to the ground on Thanksgiving day. I sure do miss that place and all my fellow employees. John s Jones.
I didn't live here when it burned, but I've seen pictures. It was a huge fire. Bristol's lost a lot of industry over the past 30 years.
@@FlyingCameradotnet I'll see if i can find the video, I got there about 5-7-mins after my sister-in-law called and filmed it till i ran out of battery. We were over a block away and it was still so hot, and it was cold out that day. I was warm standing in the street filming.
Bob Jones was one of the bosses when I worked there
Great video brother 👍👍👍👍
I am also curious what they say the Hebrew Is inscription says. I saw another video of a stone found in a box that apparently had the 10 commandments written on it in Hebrew but it was dismissed because people didn't think it was possible.
Great video brother
The Power's that Rule this fallen world has been covering up the Genesis 6 account. Believe the Gospel folks ✝️
Thanks brother Shared in community page. Watched for years, appreciate ya. Connected
Thanks for sharing this on your channel Will Personally I believe it's authentic I've been curious what the Hebrew letters say. There are a lot of things that get dismissed because they don't fit in the narrative of what people believe.
Being there in the early 90’s then into the early 2000’s it was unbelievable total sell outs it was so much fun outside the track biggest tailgate partying you ever saw everybody had fun dam what memories mind blowing how full that place was vibe just isn’t there anymore hopefully it will come back one day. Running on dirt sure isn’t gonna do it in my opinion never !!
Started going to Bristol in 1985 loved it, when Bruton went to progressive banking he killed the racing it's been going down hill since, just too expensive too, our group of 12 all quit 5 years ago , and this dirt thing is a show joke too

I am spoiled. My first race was the Night Race. Every other track I have been to is a letdown. Bristol Baby.
Great video. One question....What is the man saying @5:00... "I wan't ? ? ? for 15 years" ?
Damned if I know. Carl passed away recently and I lost a great friend.
Seeing it in person is amazing .
Great race!, great job Devin!.
Not hard at all it can't sellout
I've done the parade of lights at Bristol. It's a breathtaking experience being able to drive around the oval. The car feels like it's going to roll over when going that slow.
Awesome
Actually.tickets are easy to get now...because NAPCAR is now shit
This was what Nascar was about Nascar left the fan's Short tracks
Would love to go
Bruton ruined the best racing Nascar will ever see. Side by side racing with green flag pit stops. That's not Bristol. Bristol was a one groove track and the only way to get around another car was if he let you by or you moved him out of the way. I still have trouble watching that race because all it does is piss me off knowing what used to be the best race of the year will never be back. It used to be the most sought after ticket in sports. Now they can't even sell out. And it isn't the economy or any other bullshit excuses it's because they took away what fans came to see. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Well they fixed it and broke the hell out of it.
I couldnt agree more!
I feel the same way
Not hard to get tickets.
I live in Bristol. It's a cool sight to see everyday.
Ive been to martinsville, dover, and ams so far. Bristol is one i've always wanted to see, like racing in a parking garage. Lol. Than talladega. Ive always wanted to see pack racing live, to physically see that control they have at 200 mph. Its so awesome.
Martinsville is rare because nobody has tried to "make it better." When they changed the banking at Bristol it became a different place. And the grandstands reflect that.
I absolutely agree. They "cleaned up" the races by making the track much less competitive. Sort of like making football safer by eliminating tackling. But in the August race, it was once again packed to the brim. For the sake of the city and the area, I hope it lasts.
Old one lane old concrete Bristol was better
NASCAR was better back then.
Bristol been falling down but it seem 2020 All star with limited fan was sold out and new dirt race is sold out Bristol is back . it used be my fav race track but i like road coruse more . but i still like Short track but martisville the best . however i still would love see a race at Bristol night race .
10:39 I am sad to say, that of 12/25/2020, Bristol Dragway A.K.A. Thunder Valley has closed down. Rest in peace.
I don't know where you get your info from but you are wrong

@@FlyingCameradotnet Thank you for the info and the response
Great great presentation! You killed this man it should have way more views than this. I will be sharing this to my social media outlets often!!
This was one of my favorite pieces. I have worked on upgrading it to HD. It was produced for a small government channel that was Standard Def. REALLY appreciate your comments and yes, please share.
@@FlyingCameradotnetTRUTH IS good to here👊 world travel was common place😂. Have enjoyed this vid several times👍✌💛🔥
@@kickapootrackers7255 Thank you so much. One of my first favorite books was Kon Tiki. I agree that early man knew so much more than we will ever realize.

I rode that train nonstop back in the early-late 90s when we had our family reunion every Labor Day weekend. Had to ride it again a couple years ago. Loved trains as a kid and here I am 35 and that spark has never went away.
Bruton would fix the track if Nascar hadn’t ruined racing.
Jack... Well done! I would love to know more. I write documentaries myself.. do you have a follow up on this subject? have you seen the video of the professor claiming Smith was a drunk? ... and are you keeping abreast of Graham Hancock's work on prehistoric civilizations? .. and was the flooding intentional?
This was simply an assignment that turned into something interesting. However, last year I began to do a re-edit to enter into a film festival but like most people who do this as their primary earner, just couldn't take the editing time to do it right, so I never finished it. All the 3D work would be greatly improved and expanded. Probably work to do some additional reenactments; too. I had read that Smith, like the vast majority of Civil War veterans was really messed up mentally, and being an alcoholic was part of that. The event that spurred the production was the dedication of a memorial in the city cemetery and the piece was financed by the City government, so I decided to stay away from the negativity and I will admit that my Father coming back from Iwo Jima, completely shell shocked and yes, alcohol eventually killed him when the Japanese couldn't, played a big part in that decision. While the piece was suposed to be about the Bristol Native, I tried to promote the idea of an alternative passage to America as the centerpiece of the story. This was produced 4 years ago and I have had screaming arguments with people who were convinced that the tribes only came here over the Siberian land bridge. But during those four years, even National Geographic has published work on the Canary Current crossing theory. Of course Heyerdahl proved it could be done decades ago. I haven't heard of Graham Hancock. I'll check him out. The flooding was just part of TVA. Growing up in the Tennessee River Valley, large dams are everywhere. There are three within a good bicycle ride of my home. I've produced several pieces on how the bottom of these lakes were completely leveled and cleared, but I don't think TVA was trying hide anything about the mound. In the 1940-50s, this whole idea didn't have enough credibility to spur any sort of coverup. I'm glad you liked the piece. There are several more historic pieces on my website at www.dunhamfilms.com. Checked out your site. Nice music. I play piano, too, but I now live in "The Birthplace of Country Music," so unless you play guitar here, you don't play professionally. It has broken my heart and I hope you don't mind, but I posted your song about growing old on my facebook page. The production quality is gorgeous and I love the real strings.
This is Flyingcameradotnet. Please visit this UA-cam channel to see more of my work. I hope you are doing well. I have recently retired from my office in Atlanta and have time and resources to spend on the re-edit of The Bat Creek Stone. I would be interested in ideas that you might have that would update the piece. Hope to hear from you.
Way cool video! LOVE Bristol!!!
Missing this guy everyday...
Great videography and editing on this episode.
Thanks, Bill.
Phenomenal documentary. Thank you!!
Thank you. I was living in Bristol when they built it so this was a pet project.
