@@davidcoatessr4597 Because it's a Forte GT, and not an expensive, high-end car, I didn't see any actual benefit to coil overs vs springs. Coil overs are better, but are they 5xs the price better? The springs in conjunction with the rest of the suspension upgrades make the car handle great imo, especially for a daily.

@@davidcoatessr4597 doesn't much matter with small bolt on mods. I would recommend suspension 1st, as it's the most bang for the buck.

@@stevenspring9889 not sure the model, but it's the Injen intake for the 1.6t Gamma. I think it's technically for the Veloster, but it direct fits the Forte.

People will spend thousands on their cars but cut the line on like an extra $20 for premium fuel. It actually makes a big difference too cheapest mod ever is premium fuel

It's the cheapskate route to vent to atmosphere. It does nothing but make noise. It would be better to get a good BOV, but it's just a Kia, not super high performance. I just did it for fun, and it sounds awesome.

Actual facts- Reving to 4500rpms on a car with a 6500 redline is hardly reving the shit out of anything. Also, your not going to hear a bov sound of anykind because no car is going to build boost in park or neutral. That and the fact that these cars don't have a bov, they have a bpv.

Kia is easily as reliable as Chrysler. Neither one have Toyota level reliability reputations, but Kias aren't trash like they used to be. GDI engines require a bit more maintenance than standard port injection, and carbon can cause huge problems.

@@cadbane1980 thanks for the response. In terms of GDI maintenance what should I be expecting? More frequent oil changes? Replacing fuel injectors more often? Spark plug replacement?

@@Burgher1605 the intake valves are where the carbon builds up. They need to be cleaned every 10k miles or so.

@@Burgher1605 just watch a video on CRC intake and turbo cleaner, and follow the instructions. Way cheaper to do it yourself.

Any metal intake piping.

Custom 2.5" piping, with resonator delete, and a cheap Flow Master style, generic muffler. Reused the 2 factory outlets.

Nothing technically voids the warranty. However, each Kia dealership is different and many will refuse to touch your car if it has a single mod.

Stock Kumho tires. Couldn't get traction until 4th gear with them after adding mods. Switching out to Falkens was one of the better performance mods.

I used the Eibach springs. They only drop it about 1". Clearance for me is only the two point tie bar that I added from Evilla Motorsports.

Just vent the BOV to atmosphere
