So my dad and I both have maximas, but today my dad got a new 2023 q50 which id say is an upgrade from his maxima. Hes officially faster than me with his twin turbo rather than naturally aspirated.
Would you do resonators too later? I have q50 redsport. I want to delete muffler and res, and put an x-pipe. I’m just worried about drone
Is it loud? Caz I want one but I just don’t want it to be loud
My wife doesn't mind it, so yeah it's not that loud lol.

It does, but the drone isn't that bad at all. For example, if I'm driving on the highway, you can't hear anything if you're cruising. Maybe I'll do a video.

The maxima ain’t slow buddy. The q50 has a turbo while the maxima is naturally aspirated. Any car that has a turbo will beat a car that’s naturally aspirated. I could do 0-60 in 5.2 seconds in my 2020 Max which ain’t slow

I beat my boy q50 with my maxima, the trick is do a roll race. Never do a start race with anyone with rwd or awd with the maxima. It sucks straight off it’s feet’s. I beat him but not buy much.
Yea maximas are not good from complete stops i beat a 2017 maxima from a complete stop in my 2008 Altima 3.5v6 he couldn't catch up either i let off at by 100 because he never caught up but i know its because the Altima has lighter body weight than maxima
I’d say it’s iffy against rwd, I beat a 370z off a dig and he spun quite a bit whereas I barely did. Took him head to head to about 110km/h until I pulled a car length. Mad respect tho

No. The torque curve on a turbo is far better than n/a. Has more torque at a lower rpm.

Lol the maxima would've still lost but tell him to turn off the traction control. His head goes forward when it cut power off there line lmfao. A rollrace would be much better because its fwd and cant get as good of a 0-60 compared to a rwd setup.
I doubt TC would've helped lol. My tires are almost bald too. We also did a 30 roll and he still lost.

i agree i raced a new q50 3.0t in my 2017 maxima and i got him on a 45 roll by almost a car until we hit 90, on a 60 roll i got the jump but the q50 passed me at about 100 and took it by like almost 2 cars... i would say 30-50 roll the maxima has superpowers but is only up to 110, the q50 is a monster from 0 and also very top end after 100ish
@@christianperez5389 hey my respect with those 2016+ maximas I have a q50 redsport and a maxima fly by me and it took me a while to overtake am very impress with new maximas performance my redsport is stock but I beat stock 392s and lexus isf so that's to give you an idea how quick a stock redsport is and I struggle a little to overtake a new maxima....
