OKKII x Hooligan Beat Sessions [Live Set]

I had the honor to open for the Hooligan Beat Sessions Live Event. There were so many awesome artists lined up to play after me and I was very nervous that my music wouldn't fit the style of their audience. Plus mixing on the Sp404 is pretty difficult so this was awesome practice for me. Luckily the feedback was so heartwarming and I made a lot of awesome connections with some amazing artists w...

I have startet in Lofi last Week, and my experiance so far, i will not pay for being featured in a playlist, i rather pay meta and google ads to reach my audience, because i think, having 1000 true fans, that support me as an artist by spending $50 per year on merch or other things i have to offer, will make me a better living than anyone has with 1 mio followers on a specific platform that has an algorithm wich blocks the reach lol idk.... so my goals are kind of differnt and i dont want to make beats for playlists. i want to make beats i feel. Is this wrong? And if you feel like me, holla at me. I am down to collaborate . My journey startet August 2nd, so dont feel scared if my numbers yet arent that big. I am on my way. Every journey has a beginning. peace and 1

You shouldn't add like 24 db of gain when sweeping for bad sounds. Alot of sounds are going to be bad boosted that much. Better off boosting. It buy 6db.

hey 👋 thanks for the helpful content as i follow instructions i wonder if the gain stage step works on tracks where there is automated volume? for example i have 4 vocal-like harmonics tracks that increase and decrease in volume as the song progresses thanks to automation when using Voxengo on them it shows me the same value in dB for the whole track implying it's always as loud and ignoring it's been automated... do i make any sense ? the result (i'm still in the process of it) is a -6dB kick lowered down to -12dB kick that is barely audible and -24dB harmonics mixed up to -18dB that are loud as hell hehe before automating volume on almost all the tracks i've also mess around with gain on the different instruments in order to mix to taste any idea what's happening?
