ARRMA Typhon Grom Extra Headroom mod!
If you have one of these and are doing a brushless swap, you know exactly what I'm talking about! There is next to no room under the body!
Check out this quick little trick to shim the body up and gain a few mm under the shell, while also getting better airflow to the electronics

      Yes, plenty of power for flips now. I have the HRB 2200mah Graphene 2S pack I mainly use and also the HRB 2200mah Lipo 3S pack. Yoowoo and some other brands make the same spec battery, may well come from the same factory. I tested them against a CNHL battery and noticed no difference between them.

    Hi RCKIller! This is a FANTASTIC video… well done and thank you so much! A couple of questions: 1) Where did you get the little legs for the direct servo mounting? 2) Where did your package of motor mounts for different pinions come from? 3) Where did you get the motor screws from?

    • @Killer_of_RCs
      @Killer_of_RCs 5 місяців тому

      Thanks! 1) The ESC mounting 'feet' are from the Hot Racing kit hot-racing.com/?partnumber=GRM2401;c=1909 2a) It is the Arrma mount set www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/motor-mount-set-8pcs/ARA320744.html 2b) Pinions are various tooth counts from LC Racing, I bought several from www.hobby-addicts.com/products/lc-racing-l6032-motor-pinion-gear-set-17t-18t-19t-for-3-175mm-shaft?_pos=1&_sid=d8fc1550b&_ss=r 3) Motor screws I have a large spares box I keep. I think the new motor needs M3 screws, if you don't have any handy you can get a starter kit of spare screws from Amazon (or Jenny's for the larger scale RC's)

    My mini Revo and Vorteks both have insane motors in them and have to ramp them up slowly at 50% to keep the left front wheel from torque lifting the tire up.....that causes the tire to balloon completely throws the suspension off then darts to the right. Add some weight in the left front and that should help . Belted tires and softer rear springs with 70 wt helps too. Good luck.
