Переглядів 2074 місяці тому
Interesting project we done. We mounted both Snap Lock and 5" Gutter machines on a trailer. Creating complete setup for any exterior job. We made lots of alterations and build ups to make this setup universal and convenient #standingseam #snaplock #gutterinstallation #shopwork #eavethrough #sheetmetalmachine

    No respect for the materials that the homeowner is purchasing. Metal vice grips and that paint finish do not work together. The first time he pulled them vice grips out that would be the last time you worked on my site.

    What about thermal expansion and contraction on a panel that long?

      1-clips allow for some 2-framing allow for some 3-we allow for it on top and bottom Longer panels will require sliding/floating clips

    Hello guys, Nice work. Can you please let me know if it was used some material on the reverse of each metal sheet in order to prevent wind & rain noises?

      Can you not see? Clearly sheets laid on top of battens with a vapour barrier and probably plywood under that

    2:50 I always wondered how to get panels from slipping when they are run under a J ridge. Amazing little trick!

    Is there a specific reason you got the roof strapped? I’m assuming that it looks like new construction or your not going over a shingled roof.

    • @drummysh
      @drummysh 2 роки тому

      We stripped the shingles. Strapping is for ventilation. Eliminates ice dumps, works as sound proof and insulation, improves overall health of the house, ventilation of the house and allows to level if there are unevens on a roof

      I don't believe the purlins are needed. He didn't answer the question. I only came here because I was curious. The hatch pattern also decreases the amount of ventilation that can happen. I can understand doing this if they are trying to flatten out areas on an old roof that is uneven, but on new construction, go right onto the decking.

      @@JMoney-ne3to Maybe one reason is for easier accessibility and workability on that pitch

    That is incredible different kind of roof technology I hope is easier to installed, but too much weight to the roof structure. Congratulations
