Dendritic Cells - Science Animation - Immunology
Dendritic cells are crucial components of the immune system, acting as antigen-presenting cells. They capture and process antigens, then present them to T-cells, initiating and regulating immune responses. Found in tissues in contact with the external environment, they are vital for adaptive immunity and pathogen recognition.

Peritrichous Bacteria - Scientific Animations
Переглядів 2124 місяці тому
Peritrichous bacteria are characterized by having flagella distributed evenly over their entire surface, enabling versatile movement. This arrangement allows them to swim efficiently in various directions. Common examples include Escherichia coli and Salmonella. Their widespread flagella enhance their motility, aiding in nutrient acquisition and colonization of diverse environments.
mRNA Exits Nucleus

Medical animation showing mRNA exiting the nucleus through nuclear pores which are large protein complexes in the nuclear envelope. This process, known as mRNA export, is facilitated by export factors that recognize and bind to mRNA, guiding it through the pore. Once in the cytoplasm, mRNA can be translated into proteins by ribosomes.
Medical Animation - Cancer Metastasis
Переглядів 2355 місяців тому
Metastasis, a hallmark of cancer, is the spread of malignant cells from their primary site to distant organs or tissues via bloodstream or lymphatic system. This process fuels cancer progression, challenging treatment efficacy. Understanding metastasis is crucial for developing targeted therapies and improving patient outcomes in the fight against cancer.

      Hi, Yes, there aren't a lot - it's a complex area and most people are just creating the animations rather than focussing on tutorials. Perhaps one day I might do some if there was enough interest to do a patreon.

    did you really do all of this in blender? because I'm amazed. With little tutorials and no showreels with this much quality done in blender i really wanna ask how did you learn to do quality medical animation like this in blender

    • @AnimatedHealthcare
      @AnimatedHealthcare 4 місяці тому

      Thanks for your kind words and, yes, it's 100% Blender. I've been producing medical animations for over 25 years now so have some experience. ;-) I moved to Blender about 2 years ago and have been blown away by the power of it - geometry and simulation nodes are super powerful. The Cycles renderer is also very very good. Stick with it and you'll get there!

    • @kamalosama18

      @AnimatedHealthcare woww.. can I ask why did you move to blender rather than other 3d softwares? And where do you recommend to learn geometry nodes from?

    • @AnimatedHealthcare
      @AnimatedHealthcare 4 місяці тому

      Several reasons: 1. We wanted a unified pipeline rather than having to use addons or third party applications to complete part of the main task (eg third part renderers). 2. We also wanted to avoid licensing hassles - cost isn't the issue but licensing can be a pain. 3. It takes a looooong time to truly learn a 3D application, so knowing that ownership won't change is a major plus for long term stability. 4. Blender has a massive userbase so tutorials are easy to come by. Several other reasons but this gives you a flavour. Regards learning geometry nodes... I hunted for beginner guides here on youtube. After a while, once you've got the basics, you can start to expand your knowledge yourself. It takes time, patience and some maths.... but it's super rewarding!

    I am recent Biology graduate. Where and how can I learn to produce such animations?

    • @AnimatedHealthcare
      @AnimatedHealthcare 8 місяців тому

      I think there are courses in medical illustration and animation - have a hunt around. Or if you'd prefer to self learn - all of the animations on this showreel are produced with Blender which is free and open source so you can pick up a copy today and start learning. If you've never done any 3D animation then look for Blender Guru here on youtube - he has a beginners course which is excellent. After that... it's just a tonne of practice and a good dose of maths/logic to get these results. Best of luck and let me know how you get on.
