PiP is designed to stop those who really need it from getting it & keeping it. That same overcomplicated system designed around triggers or "descriptors" also makes it easier for scammers who just need to hit these triggers. That said people are also always inflating the number of scammers which plays into the anti-benefits rhetoric.

I used a free Pip claim specialist won my claim with ease and flying colours after a 4 hour interview she filled all the forms in honestly & correctly for maximum points. My claim did take several months buts after receiving a letter to say had been awarded Pip the next week I received 2 large payments totalling over 3 thousand pounds as wining my pip claim meant also my ESA monthly payment was increased.

It's a lottery. I had the evidence, the doctors notes and still did not work. They're denying so many people right now, automatically. I have an autoimmune disease, lots of bowel and bladder problems from the treatment I received for cancer. Much of the time, I can't go anywhere because of how sore and in pain I get... still denied.

Don't be fobbed off by the non qualified nerds, who can't possibly understand how your medical issues affect your daily life, fight the decision at lot of these no's become yes on appeal.

You got to be careful what you say to the DWP and their Assessors they will find a reason to refuse your PIP claim

Just been awarded the higher rate mobility , took it all the way to a Court of Appeal...if you believe you have a genuine claim don't give in.

PIP is not awarded for your condition(s). PIP is awarded if you meet the descriptors. Did you read, understand and meet each descriptor? If you didn't meet each descriptor or just a few, you won't be awarded the necessary points. Again, PIP is not awarded for condition(s).

i know people here in Scotland who have many health problems an were turned down from pip, what does it take to get it,?? quadruple amputee 1 lung deaf,blind and a hole in yer heart??? disgusting what this government are doing. i was kicked out of my dentists as they went private, can,t afford it, no nhs will take me yet the fukcing queus of people getting seen are immigrants. it boils my piss. fkuc this tyrannical government to hell.

Appeal straight away. It's says wait a year .... but that is nonsense. I have applied twice (both refused) & they say usually it is 3rd time lucky. Tip though ..... don't lie, but when you take that call, you have to "imagine" whilst you are talking to them, that you are on one of your WORST days, not as you feel the day of the call. There are also staff at councils who are employed to help people with the process (well there is in Sussex) & if you can find one, they can make the call on your behalf for the appeal call (whilst you are there) & they know what to say. Still no certainty, but worth a try.

Its probably a newer standard of the ethernet cable capable of much higher speeds and stability than your current one

I'm on enhanced pip, I hate it and i feel like a sponger but I do welcome the fact i am one of the genuine cases.

I guess you just need to add/replace the ethernet cable on your broadband since the cable they provided gives you a better connection. Most likely if it's simple as plugging in the ethernet cable, they thought it wasn't worth the effort on sending an engineer to sort it.

I am not sure about pigeons but my brother took this same approach with the squirrels that live in his yard. Now they will come up eat out of your hand and not feel threatened at all. Keep it up I think it will happen.

Ooooh so close Phil, I think you will end us doing this ! Just get them used to feeding with you very near by and then after a little while place you hand on the table so they get used to that and before long you’ll be able to feed them I think. Just a question of gaining their trust 😊👍

When I was made redundant it was a shock, I had booked a long weekend off and nobody had bothered to phone me, It was the woman in the shop that informed me, I felt gutted and peed off, in the end it worked out but it was hard.

On to the next chapter!

May your redundancy turn out to be a blessing! One thing covid taught me, is to make the most of your time! Learn new skills. Make yourself more attractive to the job market, and the offers will come flooding in!
