You know that I have been to so many states that have lakes that are real lakes to be called a lake,, but here in west virginia these lakes are not again not lakes but ponds because they are so tiny,,, tust me if you would see a suv tire imprint in the Mudd filled with water west virginia would call it a lake ,,,get it ,,got it ,,,, OK 👍 👌 😮😊,,,

The first date that my “wife” and I had together is on this video. The last “date” we had together is also on this video. I put wife in parentheses because we are no longer married😥 She still lives in Logan County. I do not and I really miss it and her. 😐

As a local of the Wellston township, I can say without a doubt that our state park is truly beautiful. it might not be much, but it's where many people in Wellston make memories with their friends and family, either it be camping for the weekend at the cabins or swimming in the lake. I truly love our little (not so little, lol) lake and all the memories that it holds in my heart, both as a child and as a 19 year old teenager.

Been there when young, my Great Aunt Marie was married to Nelson Mathias. My mother loved the mountains there. I was born and raised in Tiffin, Ohio and we go to east WV about every summer. Good times.

I just found this, Great video. I was born in logan in 1965, I graduated Logan High School in 1983. I loved Chief logan State Park, I spent most of my summers thru 1981 to 1984 at the park pool and camping. I moved away to Texas in 1986, I still visit to see my family. They added a lot to the park over the years, I really enjoyed this video.

Ethel/Stratton Street/peach creek/Aracoma/Monaville.. Logan in the 70s & 80s..was a Wonderful time.... cruising the island thru downtown past Morrisons to pizza hut...back down the boulevard.. Over to Franks ... LoL .....

Thank you for the beautiful video of Kelleys Island. My husband and I camped along the water many years ago in our little tent and had a wonderful couple of days just riding our bikes on the island and visiting the glacial grooves. I am a widow (83) so this was many, many years ago but I will always remember how pretty and peaceful those few days were. Thank you.

I have never been to Tar Hollow. Enjoyed the video, I live in the Warren/Youngstown Ohio area. I have been to Laurelville though, my husband and I were driving through and stopped at a little diner for a bite to eat and had a piece of the best coconut cream pie we had ever eaten there! Memories.

Thank you so much for all the work you put into these videos. I live in NE Ohio and my husband and I took many camping trips and when he became unable to camp anymore we stayed in state park cabins in West Virginia. Such a beautiful state! We visited Cedar Creek and had a lovely picnic there. Thank you for bringing back such lovely memories.

Thanks for reminding me why I have no plans to leave California and visit Logan. Strange, you see I was born there in 1952. Permanently left in 1968.

Nice drive thru of the park. I watched this for memories as we stayed there at the end of our vacation last year. At 5:40 as you pass the only cabin, site 29, in the park, the Jeep Liberty there is ours. We were staying in the cabin that weekend. We even have video of our stay there. That was a cool find. I made reservations yesterday to stay in a cabin here in May. I love this park! I live in NE Ohio, 300 miles from here and it is a beautiful drive to get here. Really enjoyed the video again.
