Tsubasa Arakawa f.k.a Red Wing
In high school, he bought a synthesizer and started composing music in earnest, and has been active in live houses and clubs in Tokyo.
In 2012, he encountered dub techno and was intensely inspired by its deep sound, and continued to create only dub techno. Since then, he has released numerous works from various countries.
His performance style is based on Elektron's Analog Four MK2, and he makes full use of the company's rhythm machines to play physical rhythms while maintaining the style of dub techno, which has been well received.
He also organizes dub techno parties such as Echo Chamber and Dazzlinz Smoke. He is also one of the founders of Zero Signal Records, Japan's first dub techno label, and the head of EMLF, a label that aims to open up electronic music.
In recent years, he has also been active in the unit “上-JYOUGE-下" with Kai Goto, who is also an artist and VJ.
