Thank you for your kind words! I took my time enjoying the falls - stopping at all the small waterfalls on the way. And, honestly, I didn't go ALL the way to the top, but my friend Pat did. If you raced to the top - you could probably do it in 15 minutes - but for Pat and I - we walked up and back in an hour.

Thank you for the very kind words!!! On short trips - I just record videos with my One Plus cell phone. On bigger trips, I also use my Canon M50. I was a little afraid of tubing - which is why I told Aletha I would only do ONE run. But tubing was so much easier than I thought (to get on and off the tube), that I ended up doing 5 runs! And I'll go again!

As you may have seen in this VLOG - Santa passes through the train cars and chats with all the kids. He will pose with a child while a parent takes a photo. That said, Santa never sat down. There was no place that the kids could sit on his lap - and you could take a traditional Santa photo. Basically, you can take pictures with Santa when he comes by your seat. This was my experience. I hope that helps.

Yes - reservations required - as there are different times and different "classes" of train cars to select from. For the trip we took, in December, our tickets were for the "Santa Express" (Santa gets on board). In my opinion, spend the extra money and get the Vista Dome - so you can see ABOVE while going through the Royal Gorge canyon. Additionally, I think the 4:00 pm tickets are perfect in December - light enough when you leave the station to really enjoy the canyon views - but dark enough coming BACK that all their Christmas lights in the canyon shine!
