J'ai toujours adoré Karl Richter car il n'a jamais hésité à jouer comme une vraie brute sur les orgues. Peu importe ce que les esthètes véreux et précieux en auront dit. Bach ou Haendel, avec lui, même combat, à fond les manettes, c'est une musique d'hommes et la testostérone est présente partout mais oui, et même venant du grand Haendel. Les mélodies assénées les unes après les autres des deux génies saxons nous entrent immédiatement dans le crâne et d'ailleurs composées à une époque où on ne pouvait pas les écouter plusieurs fois de suite, donc devant être immédiatement apprises et retenues. Je le dit haut et fort par-dessus les épaules de ses milliers de détracteurs, C'EST LUI QUI AVAIT RAISON! Maintenant que ses opposants baroqueux et tâtillons sont tous morts ou mis hors d'état de nuire pour cause de sénilité, je peux me retrouver avec mon chef favori et, ainsi, leur botter le train. Vive le grand Karl.

Encore un choc esthétique ! Avant d'entendre la musique de Haendel, j'ai vu sur mon écran des jeunes gens en costumes colorés de très mauvais goût, qui se roulaient par terre, et j'ai mis quelques secondes qu'il s'agissait une publicité pour un spectacle plus ou moins extrême-oriental. Je tiens à prévenir les personnes sensibles du risque que UA-cam leur fait courir en farcissant les vidéos dont il est simple diffuseur de publicités plus ou moins immondes montrant son inféodation au monde de l'argent.
Early Music with modern tuning (assuming A=440-442) is sooooooo hot!!!! Or maybe I'm biased because of perfect pitch.

I actually saw the sixteen with Harry Christophers when they came to Melbourne back in about 2012. It was my sons 16th birthday on the 16th so I took him to see the sixteen, and we even met Harry during the intermission. A very humble, friendly and decent fellow. wow that's some misogynistic lyrics at 1:38:10: To man God's universal law. "To man God’s universal law Gave pow’r to keep the wife in awe. Thus shall his life be ne’er dismay’d, By female usurpation sway’d."
Look closely at the language used in many of these 'biblical' sources and you'll find continuous use of chauvinist, hyper-masculine and even racist terms! Perhaps we should ban these atrocious so-called biblical sources altogether, certainly as if they were works of divine knowledge! Just mediaeval garbage, like 'virgin birth' and trinitarianism!
