Hey Farzah! So nice to see you checking in with the world. Stopped by to thank you for sharing, and to let you know that what you’re going through is a normal response to the stress of life and feeling like you’re not in control of it. I applaud you for taking solo time to check in with yourself and regroup - not easy to admit that you’re not okay during this adjustment period, but you aren’t alone with your feelings even if it feels like it sometimes. I think the solo time is super healthy and can become more routine for you to take back ownership of your time and mental space-carving out time to work out (maybe try different physical activities like kickboxing or yoga), coffee shop dates with your journal, and dedicated time for friends. In moments like these it’s so so easy to isolate yourself, but when you start to feel the weight of everything bubble up, try to remember that having support from friends and people who care about your wellbeing can be very grounding! Check in, phone a friend. Next, take ownership of your home by decluttering and getting rid of (or donating) things you have too much of. Maybe have a discussion with your husband and family about how best you can all work together to make the shared space cozier for everyone & share the responsibility if you need help. Again, it’s been awhile since we checked in but I’m proud of you for sharing how you’re feeling and how taking steps to feel better about change. YOU GOT THIS!!
