My top one hundred personal favorite movies as of July 23, 2018. This was a passion project created and edited mostly for my own enjoyment. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite shots from my favorite films, and maybe I can inspire you to watch a couple of the movies listed yourself. They all come highly recommended. Thanks for watching. As stated in the video, I am not claiming the rights to an...
Some good choices!

You seem to really love the Harry Potter movies
eres pwto tonto
You know they made movies before 1960. Leaving all of them off is a major weakness.
Ben - Hur legendary
So sad that the Arthur of the girl with dragon tattoo died there was so much more of her story. Read the books and you will know what I mean
The person who made this list has no understanding about movies. Very poor choices.
Great list, I have all of them, very subjective and you can’t please everyone!
Man, you still have a lot to explore. There is something called world cinema, you know, films not in English with subtitles, I mean, Kurosawa, Bergman, Fellini, Tarkovsky, Buñuel… You must not be very mature. All you can handle is Gibhli studios and little more.
My personal top 5 : 1. Interstellar 2. There Will Be Blood 3. Blade Runner 2049 4. La La Land 5. Midnight In Paris
a man of sheer culture
Inside out better than Prisoners, Drive or The revenant..................
I'll just do my 12 because anything longer is too much work 1. Inception 2. Gladiator 3. The godfather 4. The godfather part 2 5. The shawshank redemption 6. Se7en 7. Fight club 8. Apocalypse now 9. The departed 10. The dark knight 11. Interstellar 12. The prestige Updated: T-1. Inception T-1 Godfather T-1 Godfather 2 4 once upon a time in America 5. Fight club 6. Gladiator 7. Shawshank 8. Apocalypse now 9. Se7en 10. The dark knight trilogy 11. Heat 12. Deer hunter 13. The prestige 14. Saving private Ryan 15. Platoon 16. The departed 17. Tenet 18. Interstellar Who knows what else, so hard to rank with different genres
@Greenfields 12 appreciate the recommendations. I have seen seven samurai but I have to rewatch it because I missed what made it great for whatever reason. Also I wanna add once upon a time in america to my list
@Greenfields 12 personally I went into once upon a time in america expecting it to be too long but thought it was perfect. As for SS, I bet I'll like it more the second time but it felt really long the first. And for the godfather, it seemed to have everything in the world going for it except insane production difficulties. IMO the best movie ever
@Greenfields 12 I'm sure I just watched it on the wrong day because it's the type of movie I usually enjoy and obviously it's one really well, I'll rewatch it later this month and probably love it
@Ru Milbourn absolutely, I love that movie so much
@@AndreasIreland it's amazing how much this has changed in 10 months. Still similar kinda but basically everything I would've put from 13-30 is different, as well as a few changes to this list
Good, man knows that Fellowship the best of the three lotr, nice list
Your young lol
Good list with some interesting choices. Obviously everyone has different tastes, especially with films. I have a top 300, but 5 of your picks come in my top 200: Batman Returns, North By Northwest, The Shining, Raiders Of The Lost Ark and Rear Window. My top 30 are: 30 Goldfinger 1964 29 Batman 1989 28 Batman Returns 1993 27 Speed 1994 26 Frenzy 1972 25 Lethal Weapon 2 1989 24 Die Hard With A Vengeance 1995 23 It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World 1963 22 Psycho 1960 21 A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors 1987 20 The Last Boy Scout 1991 19 Scream 2022 18 Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers 1988 17 Halloween 2 1981 16 Love Actually 2003 15 Final Destination 2 2003 14 Jaws 1975 13 Ruthless People 1986 12 Carry On Abroad 1972 11 The Negotiator 1998 10 Halloween Kills 2021 9 Dirty Harry 1971 8 High Anxiety 1977 7 Rear Window 1954 6 Beverly Hills Cop 1984 5 Scream 1996 4 A Fish Called Wanda 1988 3 Damien: Omen 2 1978 2 Die Hard 1988 1 Halloween 1978
I just did my top 100, and I like how we share some similarities but at completely different positions, and a couple using the same clips, while others are not. There are a lot of great movies out there, aren’t there? And everyone’s list will be a little different. It’s fascinating.
Red eye is so bad omg, don't watch it guys.
@@AndreasIreland Idk which ones you have watched already but recently I really liked L.A Confidentital, requiem of a dream, sea of love (not romance) , pearl, ed wood (tim burton). I know a lot of them are popular :( sorry
@@AndreasIreland Andrea I know its a weird question, but I know an Andrea and she is kind and nice like you , so I was wondering, do you live in Mariana?
@@AndreasIreland It's okay, thank you for letting me know. I thought I was about to experiece the biggest plot twist of my life lmao.
@@AndreasIreland she goes to same college as me. She is so elegant!!! I kinda picture you to look like her a little.
Raging Bull at 93. Have you ever actually seen a move?
Sorry I typoed movie!
He has at LEAST seen 100
Once it became apparent that this would be just another Harry Potter mediocrity fest, I knew it was a shallow "greatest-hits" show. One more waste of time.
I think around 8 of the Harry Potter movies were on it. There were a lot of really great movies though that made it.
if you find opinionated and completely subjective lists a "waste of time" then you should stop watching these videos
"Spirited Away" :-) Bravo Let me guess, the reviewer is between 28 and 38.
Dude you have to start watching some movies made before 1980.
Man, I tried doing my own top 100 and it's dang hard!
i love Titanic

.mediocre list
He says FAVORITE not BEST.
@@Alex-Ale55 Then he has mediocre taste.
@@Progger11 its just your opinion man
how dare he not have 1930s Italian obscure short films on this list ugh makes me so mad
0:49 i saw what you did there xD
What did he do there?
I take that you are a huge Harry Potter fan. In all seriousness, great selection of favorites. I especially liked seeing The Illusionist (2010) on this list. Such an underrated animated film that deserves more attention.
Thank you! Yup, big HP nerd over here. Couldn't agree more about The Illusionist. Funny story about that: I accidentally recorded it on my DVR years ago thinking it was the Edward Norton film, watched it anyway, and was blown away. The most emotional ending I've ever seen.
@@dilly1725 I know right. I'm hoping someday I'll do a similar video like this for my favorite films on my channel. Might be a little while since I'm trying to catch up on some movies.
