Hello Harri, John Duggan here, from 'sunny' West Wales... Hope you're keeping well. That was a brilliant webinar, perfectly presented. Thank You
Thank you!
Thank you for the clear and confident delivery of that content. I appreciate the simple terms and analogies you used to describe this to everyone. As a glaucoma patient myself I really appreciate this sort of presentation. ❤
Thanks for sharing Russell.

My son is blind as well and I’m severely disabled and we have the same problem with cars constantly on the pavement forcing us into the road. His surgeon asked him if he has been out on his own yet and the answer was no , because we don’t have footpaths anymore just free parking spaces for cars . The best one was when the local council removed a grass verge because cars had churned it up and tarmac was put down, before we could walk safely on the footpath but not now because cars , vans and the like park right in the middle of it leaving no room for anyone else . I even asked the council worker if they were painting a white dividing line on it and he said no because the drivers would use common sense , an hour after it was dry pedestrians could not walk on it safely with the cars parked smack in the middle. I even complained to the council and sent pictures to which I was told there was no criminal offence being committed. London can pass a law to prevent cars parking on pavements so why don’t other major cities and give us a fair chance. If they think they have trouble with STOP OIL , wow would they cope with all the disabled and parents with buggies decide to demonstrate and walk on the local roads, they would know what it’s like to be us frustrated with nowhere to go .
Thank you for your program. I am delighted with your information. My years of having multiple sclerosis have developed in CBS. Previous years of optic neuropathy ambliopia, diplopia, now add optic atrophy to the significant blindness. Very little assistance is provide through ihss government aid and poor education within the organization for chronic ill people such as myself is frightening on top of my situation. Advocacy is greatly appreciated to cope! Independence is designed.
People are so selfish
Thank you for this. The UK seems to be leading the way on research
Orcam never answer about this product, i send mail several times but they are ignoring all time
I live in the suburbs of Plymouth and it’s just as bad especially with a wheelchair
Does it work with any other language than English ?
As a pedestrian people parking their cars to either fully or partially obstruct the pavement pisses me off. I'm not visually impaired but I can only imagine how bad it is for someone who is. Mind you, with the state of most pavements they are, probably, in trouble anyway.
My wife is blind and this type of illegal parking is now threatening to take her freedom to get out away. On the occasions I have challenged drivers I have been met with abuse every time. I now take direct action.
A BMW driver has parked like they are the most important person in the world?? Shocker. Not.
Can food and or vitamin supplements cause attacks of CBS?
All I ever wanted in a phone was this door detection feature
I just got my envision glasses today, I am going to try them out, and see if they work well.
how is it going?
I think I have this condition. My eyesight is pretty gone from AMD. I see some pretty cool stuff but also some scary stuff as well. Is there an organization in the US? I am going to my eye doctor this Thurs.
Luton is bad for this.
And near us in Hitchin. Fed up with it being disabled.
What an inspiration! Does TP ever run events or online sessions for a chance for visually impaired and blind people to meet and chat with inspirational people such as Haren?
What I don’t understand is as the glasses are connected to your phone to enable you to use them in conjunction with the Envision app. Why don’t they use your phone’s Internet connection like other accessories such as the Apple Watch do? this would solve the problems that I’ve heard people having where certain features don’t work unless you’re connected to the Internet.
Absolutely brilliant, my sister suffers from this and recently due to stress caused from the loss of a family member the hallucinations have been horrific and she been terrified to go to sleep.ive sent her all this video and she was delighted, she knew she had CBS, but didnt really know much about it,Thankyou so much, for all your hard work ,it will help her so much.
Cool device, but it’s too expensive.
Can it read hinds also
I'd like to know this as well
Great review, thanks. I have the MyEye 2, it stopped updating its firmware at 8. When I contacted Orcam about this issue, I was told it was because I had an early version of the my eye, Orcam have ignored every email, I have sent to them since. Because of this, I am struggling to recommend their products.. I have ended up with a very expensive MyEye which is missing features of the same MyEye bought a couple of months later..
Promo*SM 👀
Something I’d like to know about the glasses is if the complimentary frame strengthens the integrity of the thinner titanium frame. From experience with glasses, a thin frame with rubber nose pieces is prone to breaking and could cause damage to the wearer.
How can I get one of this ?urgently needed for my bills
Great video, thanks!
Thank you Jan! Glad you liked it.
Hi Emma, I think you're amazing, I have known you for so long and everything you said is true. People judge disabled people as a write off , where as showing people we are as capable as others is a big thing. I have had a life of mental illness and now work with mental health patients in the NHS. I can connect to them as I know their experiences and struggles. It's amazing to know how one disabled person can really help another. I know you help lots if people regardless if they're disabled or not and people do respect you for you commitment. Keep up the great work you do. 👍
Thank you so much for this lovely message. You are amazing! XX
Chris Lewis is not only a wonderful person but also a great analyst. Working with him was one of the highlights of my career
I had the privilege of being Haren's adaptive snowboard instructor one season in Arinsal. He taught me far more than I taught him. Incredibly inspiring and humble man. Wishing you all the best, Haren, and please give Addie a hug from me.
Hopefully they will have it in the 5g version soon
That would make our tech team happy as they would get to play with new tech again!!
what an inspiration, thanks for sharing
I love my Wand Of Power (yes I know everyone else calls it a white cane) it helps me keep my independence
