      It fixes it permanently, I’ve installed these on at least 40 Samsung refrigerators. This is the “fix” that should have had a recall but didn’t.

    The bottom long scew on the panel just keeps going round and round & not coming out when I try to take off the panel. Any idea's? I don't want to force or break anything.

      Tug on the cover gently like I did, if the screw is spinning it’s most likely stripped and not screwed into the backing. Replace the screw with a bigger one when you put it back together. Hope this helps!

    How did you get that clip out? Seems really tight in there and I don’t want to bend or damage the heating coil

    • @TheMaintenanceMan92
      @TheMaintenanceMan92 Рік тому

      Bend it back and flip it over and you can bend it a little to remove it, the element has some play. Hope this helps!

    Thawing the ice in the drain tube can take a long time. You can speed up the thawing of the ice by pouring a shot of vodka into the tray, seriously that's what I did and the tube was cleared in a few minutes. I suppose rubbing alcohol would do the trick too.

    So much trouble to pull that blower out from that little space…but do think this job should be done by two people…cause that furnace was made by a really tiny people

      There’s different sizes, you can buy one with an adapter in case it’s a different size. Just be careful if you’ve never taken one out, you can easily snap the tub shoe under the tub if you do what I did here. Make sure everything is secure if you can.

    Just did one of these today. No side access so could never get the cage out. Had to pull and replace motor inside housing. Have to do another one tomorrow. What a crack smoking design.

      It goes to the evaporation pan in the bottom of the refrigerator.

    • @TheMaintenanceMan92
      @TheMaintenanceMan92 Рік тому

      It goes into the drain pan, but with the amount I use on most of these I shopvac the water up off the ground and the pan when I’m done! Thanks for watching

    Man. This is what the hell im doing now. Wife says I got a new drain and never knows just how stupid it is to do this "simple" crap. Just hope I don't mess the threads or plumbing up after I beat the drain out and use an impact. Wrenching on it isn't working.

    • @TheMaintenanceMan92

      If the crosshairs are broke this works, I had it on the lowest setting and took it easy. If you do it hard it’s very possible to snap the shoe underneath so be careful!
