If you want a ball that will be earlier, and hook when the crimson is going too long, the Subzero is going to be your best bet. The Ember and Primal Shock both will be a lot closer in shape the Crimson, than the Subzero would be.

@@m2visuals i actually only looking to get 1 ball since im casual after not bowling for about 4 years. i felt the crimson was too strong for me in the night and i have to move left out of my comfort zone.

Great question! If the Supra GT is part of it, and you say medium dry, i'd be looking at Pride Dynasty or Black Venom as the top ball, then a Max Thrill Solid and the Supra GT. I'd pick between the Pride and Black Venom based on rev rate speed match, if balanced then Black Venom, if you are speed dominant then the Pride Dynasty.

I loved the look of the OG Raptor and Attack, but for oil, the Fury is such a good snow tire

@m2visuals I found an og raptor attack undrilled for sale. It isn't illegal unusually since that has the same core as the carnage and og jackal which is banned. The attack looks like it has a better balanced core/cover combo than the crimson.

That’s awesome! I have used the Solid a lot, I don’t see enough friction for the hybrid at box finish and haven’t knocked the shine off it yet because I have other balls for that spot, but when the hybrid is in play, it shapes as good as it looks!

@@m2visuals Shapes beautifully, especially at my house. Shot a new high series of 628 at league last night. (avg 190) Used the Top Thrill Hybrid with minimal feet movement. Was fantastic!

Two things on that, one these are not "urethane like" per the PBA definition, they do absorb small amounts of oil and won't be part of that rule, second i'm not sure what their hardness is, Motiv didn't publish it, and I don't have access to a durometer.

@@m2visuals the pba requirement doesn't exclude balls that absorb oil. The new decision applies to any ball which takes longer than 45 minutes to absorb a standard amount of oil. MCP certainly falls into that category

@@iceman5117 the information i've been privy to is that these MCP balls are not being affected by the new PBA rules.

Only had a couple shots on fresh and it was really long and wasn't ideal. Will practice with it a bit coming up and i'm sure if you knock the factory polish off it'll be easier to use on the fresh, for now i'm leaving mine nice and shiny for later in sets when lanes get hooking a lot.

Thanks! I haven't thrown them back to back yet. Top Thrill for me really makes me catch all of it at the bottom to shape, the Rally doesn't feel that weak, but i'll get some practice in with both to confirm soon.

He's got higher tilt for sure, but definitely not spinning like a top. It's pretty easy to see with the colors. Just by visual alone, I'd estimate 20-25° tilt and axis rotation around 45-50°

@@rb8999 nailed it, i'm 18-20 degrees on tilt when measuring track diameter, definitely on the higher end, but make it work.

Hey James! The Revolt is going to be the earliest rolling out of those balls, it’s very early. Layout comes down to what you want to do with it, that core has a very high differential so it’ll flare a lot, even with weaker layouts. My gut always says on those balls go pin up, but definitely chat with your PSO as I’m sure they know your game and will set you in the right direction.

Rev rate is all that matters dude. It makes no difference if you use one or two hands.
