I've never really been sold on excessive snarky commenting by characters to be a legitimate form of dialog. In my mind, it's paints the character as a person with poor impulse control, immature, and lacking in self awareness. Granted if the goal is to craft a comedy with shallow characterizations as some sort of background prop then sure it works for a basic story. But, when you get 50 of these stories it loses its appeal fast. I've come to recognize this style of writing most associated with millennial writers. If you would, I'd like to suggest the Phule's Company series of books by Robert Asprin and Peter J. Heck. I think it might give you a decent example of what a space comedy can look like. And, if you just had some AI churn out this story for you, then try having it write a story in that authors style, you might like the outcome even more.

Fun story but completely the opposite of reality. There are planets out there where the wind is mostly composed of serrated glass shards that are constantly flung across the surface at hundreds of miles per hour. Planets where the sunny side is hundreds of degrees Celsius and the dark side drops to negative 150. Worlds with no water at all, or acidic atmospheres. Earth is a damn paradise comparatively.

Well, I've seen sparring and I have to say the aliens do have a point. It can be quite funny to watch, well, maybe not from an alien's point of view. Personally, I've never seen much point and certainly nothing to fear. By the way, I'm going to my daughter's house for the holiday so I may not be able to view these until I return, in fact, I won't be able to, but I will catch up when I get back.
