The Triton is definitely worth a try as I think we were exceptionally unlucky during our stay and many other people have rated the hotel with 5 stars. We were there twice over winter and it was totally fine. Lots of space around the pool and also outside the cafe bar. Not sure if it would be any different during summer but there certainly seem to be enough. Johnandmandyadventures 😊

Totally agree.

The premium rooms are in the newly built block so you should not have any bath and shower combos. There were people at reception every day asking to have their rooms upgraded or changed. You have booked the best category of room, I am sure they will move you to a different floor etc if it is not the room you want. If you have booked half board try and get in when the restaurant opens to get a table. I do hope they keep the Premium restaurant open in September for you. If you have paid a price you are happy with, please do not cancel. Glad you enjoyed the video hahaha.

@ Cheers Mandy. We’re gonna go with it, because we love Benalmadena. Half board was only an extra £60, and I think you can swap dinner to lunch. So we’ll eat out elsewhere. We will give Manic Mercado a try first though!😂 Looking forward to your new vids👍

@@matb6466 sorry you are having issues with watching the video. We haven’t received any other comments regarding this and we have just checked on a couple of TV’s and it seems clear and certainly watchable with no clarity issues.

Hi, if we book a package we always pay for the private taxi transfer. This is very easy, once you exit the airport the driver is standing with your name, they have always given a great service. On our Christmas trip we have just had, we booked flight and hotel separate so we booked an Uber at the airport to the Triton. The car was already at the airport, price was £17 airport to Triton on Christmas Eve. We then booked Triton to the airport on January 5th and this was £13. We were 3 adults with full luggage. Hope this helps. We are putting another video on this weekend with our updated thoughts after 2 trips. Please enjoy.

Will look forward to your next video.👍 You’ve sold us the Triton (apart from the restaurant!😂) as we have just booked it with TUI, but with Easy Jet flights, on 29th Sep, in a Premier room. We wanted to go the week earlier, but my girlfriend couldn’t get that week off work. We emailed the Triton regarding the La Braseria restaurant. They said, “We can’t guarantee that it will be open”. So, I’m thinking it’s a staffing issue, (lack of foreign student workers) as it would make sense to open the La Braseria, to take the pressure off the El Mercado.🤔Ciao for now. x

Thank you so much for your lovely comment. The saga lounge is beautiful and the private outside terrace is one of the nicest in the hotel. The seating is vast, you will make great use of the lounge. There are lots of services provided, tea, coffee, fresh water etc. have a wonderful holiday.

Hi David and Shirley, thank your your lovely comment in regards to my humour haha. The hotel staggered the times on Christmas Eve !!!! They had a 6pm and 8pm sitting. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were given the 8pm sitting. Great we thought at least we will not be searching for a table, Oh! how wrong we were !! All beer, wine and cava was free on Christmas Eve so tables just sat drinking until well into the night. Tables in the restaurant are set up for 2 or 4 people and you see one person sat at a table for four. Nothing is said or done about this. Please check with the hotel if they are keeping the Premium restaurant open in September. We asked about staggering the times and they have said that there is plenty of availability after 9pm, so if you like to eat late you will be fine. We have just stayed for 12 nights over Christmas half board and ate in the restaurant 8 times, 4 breakfast and 4 evening meals and that was far too many for us. There are far better places to eat around this area. The hotel is lovely, the Premium rooms are lovely. You will LOVE the roof terrace, the staff up there as so friendly. The bar prices are the same throughout the entire hotel and are EXCELLENT in our opinion. You are paying around 6.50 euros for a very nice cocktail. There are so many seating areas inside and outside and all extremely comfortable. The evening entertainment is rubbish in our opinion, just think VERY bad Eurovision, with kids jumping around. However there are lots of places to sit and enjoy your evening. The Premium rooms have the sun on the balcony most of the day, but not late afternoon. We would stay at the Triton again but room only. We had loads of UK Channels in October but they are not subscribing to them now so just BBC news (disasters etc) on a loop. The reception is big, you can store luggage etc. I am sure you will love your stay. We have put another video on of our walk around the hotel. If you have any other questions please ask and we will be glad to help if we can. I really hope they open the Premium restaurant up all year as it is beautiful and just sat empty most of the year. take care Mandy & John

@ Wow! What a lovely reply, thank you so much. We have just watched your latest video on the Triton, looks bloody ginormous!😂 To be honest, we normally only book Adult Only hotels and stayed at the RIU Nautilus last year, but the prices this year are silly money for a basic room. Looked at the Riviera, but they get some dodgy room reviews. The Triton looks so big, we could lose our selves. We go out most nights especially to Darcies, the Tamla Mowtown and Soul bar, a few hundred yards up the road from the Triton. By the way, the Dizzy Donkey is features in ‘A New Life In The Sun’ on channel 4. Well worth a watch! Thanks again John and Mandy👍xx

Hi Laura - There is an outdoor stage and a kids club. It wasn’t open when we visited in the winter but I am sure they will have activities on in the summer months during the day. They do also have family entertainment/kids disco on certain evenings. The kids (and parents) did enjoy it ! We have also added a Triton tour walkthrough video earlier today ! Hi there - the superior rooms do not include the rooftop bar, however all guests can visit the rooftop bar from 5pm until 10pm (currently)

@lukebrown8580 - we would definately recommend booking a week away in December and the few times we have visited during that time the weather has nearly always been nice. @@CanadianSlotCouple the shake was delicious by the way and made up for the raw burger !! 🍔 There was no way we were leaving that machine until that bonus appeared but not sure we’d do it again - it was a marathon ! Mad Apple was great and the girl who used to be in Zumanity did the puppets !! Fantastic show and we’d definately go again - great entertainment 😊
