Okay so this is really weird. I visited the historic house just outside the museum when I was eight. I felt a strange connection as though I had been there before. I felt like I was picking out pieces of it that were missing, like I’d turn to my grandma and say “There used to be a doll there.” I think my family just ignored it because I was a very imaginative child and assumed I was just making stuff up. A few weeks ago I revisited it and felt even more connected to it than I did before, almost like I could see myself there, but dressed differently. It wasn’t extreme or anything, so I just ignored it and continued through the museum. By the time we were leaving, I was so stressed out and confused to the point where I couldn’t stand to be in there, it was too creepy. All the toys and dresses in the room where we could try stuff on felt too real to me, I couldn’t even touch them. I started crying right then and there because of the insane amount of deja vu and general creepiness this was giving me. The weirdest part was I was born in Montana just a feel miles out of Bozeman.
