In all honesty I'm not much of a fan of the E200s in general, they all seem a bit slow and if you get the wrong ones they can be awful

@@WelshBusSpotter08 Oh god aye. I might be wrong... but if I remember it was one of the 12 plates if I recall, loud cooling fan, hissing from possible boost leak, absolute bag of rubish. The CN11 ones I am not a fan of. They are quite tinny. :P

@@shaneplumb5893 all will be based out of Cwmbran depot, you can find them on Cwmbran/Pontypool towns during the week there are 4 at Cwmbran at the moment, another 5 are due

It was quite a bit of uphill in this recording yea, and yes I think it used to be H15 KFJ. Sadly now though it's been withdrawn from NAT and sold on to another operator in the Exeter area I believe

Not all of them were scrapped, most were sold on to other operators

Both BYK and ESU are VOR from what I'm aware of, ETU was on loan to Caerphilly for a while but with the loss of the R1/R2 it's moved back to Cwmbran and AZC, EZZ, EYB, LBE, XOU and a few others all followed due to the increased PVR for solos at Cwmbran

Honestly wasn't expecting the use of hold gears but he kept using them on the dual carriageways so made for a really good recording on accident

There is no kickdown unfortunately, i believe that there is a power setting to choose from Eco mode to Normal mode. I will see if the 57/58 does any magic and makes it rev up tho

Aaahhhh! 😢Funny enough I tried contacting CB to see if I could preserve a Scania Omnicity... they did not seem fussed or keen to sell them privately, seems they are more into selling them on to other companies first hand. That is how the email expressed it. So not sure whether this would affect 768 whether it will be offered to there bus companies first. So my plans with Omnicity preservation has gone haha!

@@dangerousdeo5113 I believe they are doing that because they are fit to run lots of service and they are probably only letting ppl preseve 768 because of the loud ZF. I believe they are still going to let you have a solar, maybe one of the 763-766, someone wants 767. When the rail rep cowboys are done with the Omnicitys you may be able to get it from there. 740 741 are the nicest sounding ones from what i know. Maybe if they get it to a sales company you can get it from there like the 460-472 which went to ensign?? 768 seems alright going with preservation, 769 is with some cowboys.

@@TheTransportUA-camr Lucky for them... seriously I envy them. Been back and forward with contact in regards to it for ages... seem they are not interested with me purchasing one. This has been both enquiring about a Omni and Solar... no dice. I tried contacting Teulu Travel about a bus before, was not the nicest response back from an enquiry. More of a "Get lost" response haha! :(
