Karen Chillcott at the young age of 15 told family and friends adimately that she would someday own a ranch with 50 horses. At 68 Karen is living her dreams!
Victory Alliance Ranch is not just a home for horses, it is a home for those who know pain, have felt fear, and who have experienced for most the unimaginable. Karen's ranch is a haven for those who need peace, for those who are looking for safety, for those who simply need unconditional love and understanding. From the young to the young at heart and everyone in between you are welcome at the Victory Alliance Ranch.
Karen and the Victory Alliance Ranch provide support to and rehabilitation of disabled veterans with an emphasis on PTSD and TBI and their families, challenged children (we have Special Olympics equine coaches), and we provide support to surviving family members of deceased veterans and we provide those services and conduct activities related thereto utilizing, where possible, rescued horses, and their offspring that may be born on the property, from either off the track and/or victims of injury and/or abuse.
Karen shares her adventure called life, the challenges of returning to civilian life after living in combat zones, the power of a kind word, a healing heart, and an open mind.
Today's video is a little different, it is filled with photos of the Ranch instead of watching Karen share her passion. It is because Karen's voice came through loud and clear, but her video did not. The message is important, the pictures are a testament to a life long dream, and a place that turns pain into purpose.
