Hello sir when calculating the number of teeth can we leave it in decimals? Because I see the past papers left it in decimal form
@@akileshramouthar7523 Great question. No. If you can think of a spur gear or any gear for that matter, we can’t look at it and express its number of teeth in decimal form. If you get for instance, 25,1 we express that as 26 number of teeth. If the number after the comma is less than 1 then we go for under design and if it’s greater than or equal to 1 then we go for over design.

Why did we change the negative sign to be positive when it's going west ?? I didn't understand how we change since sir
The sign indicates direction. If the vector is on the x- plane, positive we take as east and negative we take as west. If the vector is on the y-plane then positive we take as North and negative we take as south. When we’ve indicated the direction of a vector, we get rid of the negative sign
