I've installed the first shelf and tested the sag with 200 lbs (91 kg) in the center of the shelf - the sag is under 0.5" (12mm). There is near-zero lateral shift or twist under pressure. Very impressive stability! The construction technique with "stressed support member" (threaded rod in my case) is often used in architecture and is stolen from nature. Plants use string-like cellular fibers in...

Samsung IFR18650-11Q cells in Dewalt DC9360 36v battery
Переглядів 20 тис.13 років тому
Today I discovered Dewalt has changed the cells they use in DC9360 batteries. Instead of A123 2.3 Ah cells they use 2x 1.1Ah Samsung IFR18650-11Q or -11P cells. You get much worse battery now. Thanks DeWalt for shafting your loyal customers! Specs: www.samsungsdi.com/battery/cylindrical-IFR18650-11P.jsp www.formula-hybrid.org/pdf/accumulator-data-2011-Rev2.pdf
Fluke 515A portable calibrator demo

Found this in a dumpster, took apart and NiCd pack was dead and leaked. The rest of the functions work 100% and seem to be within spec. This product was made is 1977 and still works, I'm sure it was calibrated fairly recently. This demo shows the difference between Extech 530 ($240 USD), Fluke 289 ($650 USD) and Amprobe Meterman 38XR ($140 USD) multimeter accuracy. As you can see cheaper Amprob...
Thx, here in 2023⚡
It could be used for self defense weapon if you don't have a gun.
We did this in the late 90s for roofing and siding. The problem was the price of the air compressor was like $10k so it was unrealistic to run back and forth to the scuba shop or the paintball shop. I just thought of it so I searched to see if anyone came up with another idea or if the price of the compressor went down. I’m seeing them for short $$ on Amazon “under $500”. No idea if the work for the application but I’m going to look further into it now. Remember this video was made 10 years ago so over 20 years later the idea may be within reach.
Yong Heng pcp 300 bar pick em up for about $350 just buy the right version and don't overheat it and it'll last you long time. ✌️
I want this where can I get a tank
I have a question about the password more than 3 letters, what if the letters equal to more than all the numbers of the letters?
The explanation is very good and easy to understand.
do you still use it in 2022?
Yes
Hello I have the Fluke 8808A ... I did the measurement of a transformer for tube amplifier and the voltages were higher than 700V AC. The multimeter broke. Ohms and AC function fail. Any suggestions or help ...! Greetings.
I remember Lowes used to sell a regulator to run tools off of paintball co2 tank.
Can't you just use any regulator? Isn't all standard fittings?
You can use some alcohol and paper wipes
Down voting because no discussion of the reduction function
Would love to know how much or how many pickup tires could be added air to or filled from this
none, you'd need a 10 gallon tank to fill a tire
Kickass video! EXACTLY the solution I’m looking for. Thanks for posting this
What did u use to regulate the pressure? Obviously there's mech scuba & digital systems. However, at the time. I wanted it all "DIY." I thought of this system & used this system when I was 12yrs old. Thought I could carefully control the psi with the main on/off knob. One day someone messed w/t it & opened that knob all the way. I attached a full, 40oz CO² canister. Every bit of that pressure hit the tool w/ a max rating of 55psi. Basically turned into a pipe bomb.
Can you rebuild the batteries??
Yes. LithiumWerks 26650 x 10
I did similar but used CO2 and a bigger regulator. At some point in time I may plug up the gauges as they are not really necessary. I keep the output around 100PSI, and dial it up or down so it just does the job. This makes a difference in how many nails you can drive with it. If I tone it way down for air staples or brads I can go all afternoon. Full info here: hackaday.io/project/161432-poor-mans-paslode
Would it be safe for the ac,dc,diode settings that's printed on the case or would it remove the settings symbols along with the dirt?
Would this be better than a battery powered nailer? Or gas powered?
Probably the same as a regular nailer but with an air tank strapped to you
I love the idea. I plan to make one myself. But I was curious why the nails are sticking so far out? I often use 2 inch nails for trim in the house, so I want to make sure that it will sink them all the way.
Most likely hasn’t fine tuned the pressure regulator yet. Which could end with under pressuring a nail gun. Also those are trim nails they shouldn’t be able to go into a chunk of 2 by 4.
They are 2-1/2” nails going through a 1-1/2” 2x4 so the stick out 1”
Just what I was looking for, good info.
Everyone says that hash is irréversible why ?? I think that if we Know how it was mad WE CAN juste reverse every step from the end to the beginig . Pls if someone Know how md5 is made step by step tell me in wiki its complications
Omg never mind i got it
Like your video.I just hate seeing open toilets though.Just something that isn't all that pleasing to me personally.
What run time Air drill run?
It wouldn't last more than a couple of minutes. Air drills, sanders, impacts, etc are very air hungry.
I hello I want to do the same but with 3 240v electric heater under the same thermostat
I have 3 electric baseboard that I want to connect to a ness thermostat . I see you set up . I just want to know how big should the contacter be and the transformer
What power are the 240v heaters?
I have two electric baseboard heaters producing 16 Amps currently connected to a double pole 22A-120/240 Vac(18A-277VAC res. only) thermostat. Can I use this same contactor to connect on a 24V wifi thermostat?
great I'm going to start this project over the weekend . thank you
Heyyyy....I need the IC DG444DY for my FLUKE 179 repair...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you. I would of never thought of this. This worked great. I cleaned up my 20+ year old fluke 12 bumper case( which is removable). It literally looks brand new. Great video
Thank u. Gave me some ideas for a home im workin on

very interesting, where is the regulator?
it's the piece that screws onto the tank
how can i buy this regulator which can afford 20 or 20mpa?
There are actually TWO regulators. There is one installed on a tank and the second one you see in this video. The tank regulator reduces from 4500 psi (31 MPa) to 800 psi (5.5 MPa). The regulator on the black hose is reducing from 5.5 MPa to 1 MPa. 31 to 5 mpa www.ansgear.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=NINJATANK%2DPROV2REG45 5 mpa to 1 mpa www.evike.com/products/47820/
Be advised, this is NOT the correct way to calibrate Meterman meters. The pot is only a coarse adjustment meant to get you close. The jumper should be moved to the other position for calibration. You start on the lowest DCV range and first short the input for the 0 point. Press the HOLD button to save the setting. Then apply 900mV, adjust the coarse adjustment, press HOLD to perform and save the digital fine adjustment. You then go to the 10V range, apply +9V to to the input, press HOLD to do the digital adjustment and save. Go to the 100V range and repeat with a 90VDC input. You repeat for every range and every function. You don't need to mess with the pots unless the meter is grossly out of order, and you don't get a precise multi-point calibration without putting it into calibration mode and doing it right.
I just got an amprobe am 570 from amazon yesterday. the voltage is way off. Even my walmart cheap meter is more accurate. do you know how to adjust? I dont have an accurate voltage source.
Hey Rick, thanks for your post a while back. I had to adjust a 37xr because the DC volts was out slightly, but then had to do the AC volts and DC current after they showed a err1 and err2 respectively. .. . I did DC volts first, (as you suggested) then did AC volts, 900 milli amps at 60 hz, on mvolt range, then tried 9 volts @ 60 hz on 10 volt range, (they did not show on the screen but they tested ok) ... then just did one test each for u amp (90 ua) , miili amp (90 ma) and amp.(they displayed better)..(1.99 amps had to be 1.99 amps) DC. (AC just seemed to work without AC Current. ) When one was way off i just went back and tried again with a short on the first test. and it all worked out. I had adjusted one meter a few years ago by the pot but it seemed too uncontrolled so there had to be a better way. all the readings were better after this.
LM399H is the heart of the instrument. It's the oven controlled voltage reference. It's what ensures low drift and accuracy of the whole instrument. Also those flat upright things you couldn't tell what they were are laser trimmed resistor networks. Very unique and important/expensive components. Thanks for the teardown!
what microcontroler use this multimeter?
i just opened the newer black 36v batteries 2015 dates and they only have 10 cells inside, empty spaces where the other 10 cells should be?
I like your thinking!
Part 3?
I just wanna say that people need to look at the max working pressure on the tool they using this for. For example I have a finish nailer and its max working pressure is 90 psi. So set the pressure for the tool to avoid any possible damage
well it was a good move. now with the newer 36v batteries, you can continue to use your tools when the originals die. i prefer having this option than none at all, plus these Samsungs are good quality 18650s,
how to take visual images from this?
+prasad bongu it comes with an SD card and card reader
Nice work bench, but you have gone over kill with the size of the materials that you have used. To make the work bench to easier to change I would have butted the work surface up to a back board. A easier way you could have built this bench, would have been to use 2"x2"x1/6th angline, (that's a long 'L' shaped piece of steel with hole and grooves cut into it). That would have made a great framing for you to mount worktop, shelves and back boards, as well as making it easy to replace anything that needed replacing.
so did the new battery end up being shit as you assumed or was it fine?
can you make a video using an impact and how long it works before its to weak to be of use. If it works well would you be willing to sell this set up. can u refill the tank with a standard compressor . its a giant one they use at work to run all our air tools. would that be able to fill it.
You would want to fill your tank with a 3000-4500 psi compressor, like at a paintball field or scuba shop. I get a 3000 psi scuba tank filled for $3 and haul it with me.
Tragic Beauty lol it dont matter if you have a huge air compressor at work, that think will probably blow up the shop before you could get close to 1000 psi
Dewalt has gone to shit ever since they where bought out by Stanley. Someone should file a lawsuit against dewalt because these 36 v batteries are junk. I spent thousands on supplying my employees with dewalt 36 batteries I was lucky to get 6 months out of them. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
George Owen dewalt 36v battery can been repaired. a A123's 26650 battery only 4.5 dollar . one 36v battery includs 10 26650 battery......i try to repair my four dewalt 36V battery and succed.
I guess step 2 is as far as this project is going to get.
Good explanation, but these aren't rainbow tables, these are only precomputed tables.
Nice video but I dont think I will buy that multimeter. You are very lucky to find that calibrator.
Can u do a video of it filling a tire
