"And then,.... all wars ended
Arms of every kind were outlawed and the masses gladly contributed them to giant foundries in wich they were melted down and the metal poured back into the earth. The Pentagon was turned on it's side and painted purple, yellow & green.
All boundries were dissolved.
The slaughter of animals was forbidden. The whole of lower Manhattan became a meadow in wich unfortunates from the bowery were allowed to live out their fantasies in the sunshine and were cured. People swam in the sparkling rivers under blue skies streaked only with incense pouring from the new factories. The energy in the air provided free heat and light.World health was restored. An abundance of organic vegetables ,fruit and grains was growing wildly. National flags were sewed together into brightly coloured circustents in wich politicians were allowed to perform harmless theatrical games.""We are stardust, we are golden and we've got to get our selves back to the the garden!"

BLIND FAITH, In the Presence of the Lord
okt. 2024 en nog steeds ultieme waarheid !
Wore this tune out...great band...
En nog steeds zo actueel❤ geniaal lied
Was never a huge fan but this debut still emotionally feels nostalgic. Sweet intricate song that captures the essence of a once in a lifetime era
This entire album - Blind Faith’s one record is a Masterpiece. Step 3. Deuteronomy 30.
I kept searching to try to see why you wanted me to watch these two hippie concerts Were you in them? Thats why i kept enlargung them, to try to see what you were trying to shiw me I still dont get it.
The band was on fire!!!
One of the greatest bands ever!
And Ginger Baker has to be one of the best drummers ever.
Prachtig
Historic
Even sturen naar Partij voor de dieren......
Yes, kids, you're right: there are four guys on a small open-air stage, a bassist, a drummer, a guitarist and a keyboard player who also sings. All in clothes that they usually wear. And - don't be shocked - they play live, without a safety net! There were plenty of guys like that back then, in the 1960s and 1970s. And they played, we bought vinyl records for the record player, went to concerts and had fun. And when I want to escape the high-tech world, I take a vinyl record, put it on the record player and revel in the good old days. And the more the record scratches, the greater the feeling!
And some of them play the great gig in heaven. Only on earth there music never dies ❤
Beautiful, just sad that we see so little of Ric Grech
Not long after this, Eric descended into his Heroin. Sad really but at least he came out of it😅
9th grade in Victor's downstairs bedroom absolutely living this!!
Agnostic here, who can definetely appreciate the qualties of this song and performance.
Je hoeft er in ieder geval niet meer voor naar Rusland. 🤣
Eric was already a millionaire at 21 he'd already played for The Yardbirds for John mayall for cream and then this blind Faith
Hij blijft goed !
Inmiddels weer heel toepasselijk, in Leusden e.o. 😬 😜
❤🤍💙
Sweet dreams are made of this!!! 🎶💜🎶
And if you want to know more about ole classic artists and guitars, Steve Winwood, despite his skills at keyboards, a guitarist also. Go dig up old live footage of Winwood with Traffic playing Dr. Mr. Fantasy, there Winwood using a Gibson Reverse Firebird in strange green finish! Not sure that has any extraordinary aspects of tone or sound, but Steven Stills used a Firebird Type 1 when he with Crosby, Stills, Nash, Young and dig up the old 74 video performance of Almost Cut My Hair to see him playing it, as well as young Neil Young with his staple Les Paul.
The tone is so awesome Clapton gets cause it is not simply a Telecaster, but a Tele Custon body with an old Fender Stratocaster neck attached! Other aspects left off as in live performance Marshall stack amps, but in studio may been using Fender Bandmaster amp and the original album recording pretty much has some tonal qualities original album vs this live performance, extra watts and more volume the only difference?
Er is zojuist een hond doodgebeten door een wolf🤣
Ritchie always likes to speed stuff up in concert. Here he is on fire. I saw this tour and they were amazing. Don’t forget the keys here, very well done.
"Blind Faith" in London Hyde Park (1969)
""Blind Faith"" ""London in Hyde Park"" (1969)
Timeless classic - IMHO Ambrosia's best... so nice, nice, very nice.
Ginger Baker sounds good. Those cymbals are good
Great song, but the drumming is lacking in this version.
Amazing response to this song!! There's a few bands holding this genre alive..but sadly not enough..music is not the same 😢
BLIND FAITH FOREVER
That opening riff though.
Great song..great band❤
I'm 58,,I still listen to Cream,Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominos on my pioneer stereo
Rosemary, you are not alone!😅❤
Eric Clapton looks younger in Blind faith than when he was with cream
This is insane ! Wen music was real and people were so relaxed and happy
Lester e’insostituibile.
It's funny to remember all the crap thrown at Blind Faith as a supposed commercial supergroup created for money. The music, however, speaks the self-evident truth. This is the kind of loose, jazzed-up, musical rock that Cream was supposed to create, but never did. It's also amusing to remember how Ginger Baker always seemed to come in second or third among "greatest rock drummers," usually behind that slugger John Bonham... as though Bonham could even play this song.
You’ve listened to Live Cream Vol. 1 right?
@@pws8091 Yes. I also saw them live, and absolutely love them, but primarily as a rock band. Despite Baker and Bruce being jazz-oriented, I don't think the band itself ever got beyond power rock (fine with me) even on the long improvisations. I don't know if Clapton was still stuck in the blues or what, but it has always seemed to me that Winwood, with his unparalleled musicality, unbounded by any particular style, opened things up for Clapton and helped Blind Faith to move and swing, and to get beyond rigid tempo, as Cream mostly didn't do, mostly, I think, because of Clapton's blues reverence. Just my opinion.
@@patrickcollins6830 Yes, I would agree with that. You clarified that in a really cool way, thank you. I think it was possibly a combination of Clapton finding Winwood as an outlet for his new mindset, as a result of his trip to Laurel Canyon and watching Joni Mitchell play. You listen to Music From Big Pink, then listen to Blind Faith and I always see the connection.
Jesus saves ..is the way.✝️✝️✝️✝️♥️☮️
One universe away, Dave Grohll would be on that drum throne. Tom Petty asked if Dave would drum on tour and be in the band after Kurt died, but Dave was just forming Foo Fighters
One of their best. Thanks.
I consider myself blessed to have seen this performed live.
This song is too cool for solitary confinement
Brilliant little band. Eric..smh...why can i say that hasn't been said about him, bloody brilliant he is....__GOD__🎸 I never understood why he wasn't as massive as Zeppelin or Pink Floyd. Any band he was in was short lived. He should have been bigger than Jimmy page. Eric is a way better player than jimmy..----that shoplifting pedo---- anyway, great song. Cheers mates.👊🏻
Definitely delightful song and cleaver lyrics.
These guys needed a few more albums together
