#KhemchandPrakash #LataMangeshkar #Bollywood #OldBollywood Our basement was recently remodeled and I noticed when I recorded my voice down there it sounded like an old 78 rpm record… so I had to record this favorite old Bollywood song of mine, the 1949 song “Aayega Aanewala.” ♥️

Fantastic job!!
Thank you so much!
You sound beautiful!
Thank you so much! 🙏
I admire your musicality and generosity in sharing your thoughts. You mentioned the Pfeiffer-Mack Oboe Shaper Tip. Any insights on the Jeanne Standard or Jeanne M tips? I appreciate the sound of Jeanne M but value the stability of the Pfeiffer-Mack. Unsure if the gouge or Shaper Tip is more crucial, it seems they should match the oboe. Your beautiful playing appears effortless-thanks for inspiring us all.
You are so kind!! I actually think Pfeiffer Mack is great, but I couldn’t get it to work consistently for me. It works great I feel for a smooth and dark reed to blend well, but I had a hard time making an up enough reed on it. I tend to play reeds a bit low, so Brannen X seems to work a bit better for me. It’s still medium-wide but not as flared. I am not sure if I have tried the Jeanne M, but I did try one Jeanne tip that was quite wide. I made a good audition reed on it once, but I overall found it a bit flat. Now that I’m on a sharper oboe I might be okay with it, but I don’t own one. If I was on a flatter oboe I would go back to my Mack +. I think Mack ++ is a beautiful shape too. Part of me wonders if I have should have gone for that, but I am quite happy now. The Brannen X is probably the widest I can go. Look out for the JFRN (John Ferrillo’s TBA shape, on Harvard Double Reeds) Once it finally comes out it will take the oboe world by storm. It will be pricier but worth it. I made some of the best reeds ever on it. It gathers the crow so easily and keeps things up to pitch, but yet produces a reed with a shocking amount of depth.
@@anishrajpanditthanks for the information. I've been searching to diversify with a few different shapes. I. Looking forward to the release of that shaper tip at Harvard Double reeds.
Thank you for sharing with a pure heart. Jesus loves you. God bless you.
Thank you so much for this kind comment. Jesus loves you also 🤍 God bless you too!

“The Lord is My Shepherd” Psalm 23, from John Rutter’s Requiem First Presbyterian Church Choir, Evansville IN Robert Nicholls - Music Director, Organist Anish Raj Pandit, Oboe “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” This was recorded on my iPhone inside of a bag, so it’s not quite indicative of how it sounded live, and as the phone was too close to me it almost sounds as though you’re inside my oboe, or even my mouth. 😂 But this is such a beautiful piece of one of my favorite Psalms from the Torah/ Old Testament.
Translation into English by Sounak Gupta: “What on earth are you trying to make up, covering yourself in gold? The companionship that's ours is ephemeral, friend, and we know not how long we live or when we die. When the ears are covered in gold we fail to hear the words of love. Hearing priceless words is of more value than wearing pricey gold. You then transcend acquaintanceship and feel the warmth of the longing heart. When the sun showers gold over the clouds on the eastern sky, priceless tears of love, ever more valuable than gold, shower pearls. Who picks those pearls and strings them together into a garland to offer to one's beloved, friend?”
