GIANT elf-ear friendly hood, NO PATTERN REQUIRED!
I really wanted a super simple hood that I could use in my Renaissance Faire garb but that wouldnt make me super sweaty (yay spring faires) and also wouldn't block my wings in the back!
After gathering inspiration from pinterest photos I drafted a (very rough, at first) pattern for us to use.
The best part is that if you're using one thick fabric that won't fray, such as fleece, you will only have one seam in the back! So it would be easy to make this with hand sewing or fabric glue even.
Thanks for being here! ♥

I've been debating if I should post this or just keep it in the drafts like a private journal page, but then I thought if it could help encourage even one person then it was worth sharing. I'm pretty private about my home life and feel almost afraid to share any kind of real and true details in to my past or present. In 2015 I was 20 and recently divorced after a brief 3 month marriage to someo...

I've been attempting and failing to make this type of skirt for the Renn Fest this year but I for the life of me couldn't figure out how to get it so floofy and layered. That is until I found your tutorial. This is so perfect and easy to understand, a big thank you for creating this!!! Because of you, I might actually finish my costume in time this year (for once).

Love the children in the back😂. Some Embroidery would be super cute. I have also seen a few fay folks do small buttonhole style openings that allow their ears to go through their hoods or hats so they are not hidden. Flowers or leaves pined about .. Could be hinding any spot they dont love..or just more decorations. Either way they always look great ears in or out. I'm just building my attire. My ex was embarrassed and didn't let me dress up. They wonderful man in my life now is on board and wants to have a family theme❤ we already have 3 events to go to and busily designing and creating.
