Daltaí na Gaeilge is a not for profit corporation founded by Ethel Brogan in 1981 that is dedicated to promoting and teaching the Irish language. All of our work is done by volunteers.

I truly believe that Rhiannon Laffan (nee Giddens) is one of the most entertaining, competent, emotive and important musicians on the planet today. I would highly recommend the Irish contingent to do some homework on her own material and her appearent reasons for creating it, for it's American roots at its finest. @@waynej2608 She's one of the founding members of "Carolina Chocolate Drops". Check out some of her originals like "At the Purchaser's Option". In 100 years, they'll look back and say Rhiannon was the most important folk musician of our era.
