Anyhow yes great speakers I got 4 of them w the apocalypse 4-8”s CT sounds 1400w and a CT sounds 3000w, my daughters car has the 12” meso sub w 1600w rips shit

For anyone watching this, it seems these are popular in local audio shops. The general consensus I am told is that these are designed for pure loudness and not audio quality. Not to say they sound bad, but the primary goal of these are to get loud within their designed frequency range. A driver like this absolutely requires a woofer, subwoofer and a tweeter. I don't recommend these as a drop-in replacement for car doors since they have zero bass. Even if you have a subwoofer you are missing a frequency range in vocals/instruments. Although I think they look really cool with their giga-chad ass sized magnet. I keep it around sitting on my shelf for the lols.
If you put them in a eq and hpf they will sound pretty nice
I am adding rear door speakers on my impala with my speaker pods. I have 6x9 hyenkas for the mids and the silver tip 6.5 PRVs for the front doors lmao I needed this cuz my 15s were too loud had too much bass no voice 😂
What kind of power was it seeing?
I don't know. The receiver used was Yamaha HTR-5835. According to the owners manual: Minimum RMS output power (0.9% THD, 1 kHz, 6 Ω) Front: 120 W + 120 W Center: 120 W Surround: 120 W + 120 W Subwoofer: 120 W (30 Hz, 6 Ω) It's connected to one of the Fronts, so I'm assuming around 120w

The goodwills in my area get spammed with Bose acoustimass subwoofers all the time. I think I got 2 of these for under $40
Every 60s and 70s muscle car used 6x9's in the rear deck. We used to run Jensen coaxials in the day these look like a good replacement. For classic rock 6 x 9's sound sweet.

I just bought a 1968 Chevelle SS. I am going to replace the 6x9 in the rear deck with these. I believe. Seem like a good option. Different from the brands i would normally use

I have them installed in the rear, but they don't sound as good as stock in my opinion. Ordered an amp to see how that improves the bass then will make a video with it done along with the door speakers exposed
